NFL fined 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 for engaging in an offensive demonstration Sunday vs. Miami. “Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in its fine letter. Juszczyk, nicknamed “Juice”, already has appealed the fine.

A man who STABBED his landlord to death was declared “not guilty by reason of insanity”… then Virginia authorities gave him a 48-hour free pass from a mental hospital.
A JUDGE said no.
Steve Descano and Virginia officials said YES anyway.
They even helped him get a passport.
Result?
He walked out… went straight to Dulles… and FLED THE COUNTRY to Tajikistan.
A violent, committed killer is now gone — and the people who let it happen still have their jobs.
This isn’t a mistake.

My wife is furious with the Lindsay Clancy case. She says it’s the worst thing possible for women. If women are so hormonal they can’t keep from killing their own children, how can women argue they deserve any positions of high responsibility? It’s anti-women to favor not guilty.

Jonathan Turley unloads on the Clancy defense's attempt to appeal the judge's mistrial declaration, arguing the objection comes far too late and warning the legal theory is "bordering, in my view, on the frivolous."
Turley explains that even if the jury is in fact split 11-1 in Clancy's favor, the result is still a mistrial.
He adds prosecutors could choose to try the case again, but would have to consider whether they can realistically convince all 12 jurors next time.
