Roy Cooper vetoed 104 bills during his eight years as North Carolina governor (2017–2025). This is by far the most of any North Carolina governor since the veto power was created in the late 1990s. Three times more than any other North Carolina governor. His most egregious veto? In 2019 he veto’ed The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This bill would have required health care providers to give infants born alive after an attempted abortion the same degree of care as any other newborn of the same gestational age, with criminal penalties for failing to do so or for overt acts that kill the child.
Q: What did you learn about working with the Republican supermajority — about working with the other side of the aisle — and how will you take that to DC? Roy Cooper: People just want government to work. They get tired of the partisanship. It seems like both parties are trying to make the other party fail. What we need is people who are willing to say, "Hey, we need to make sure that people have health care, we need to make sure we help small businesses, and we've got to find a way to end this war in Iran. Let's get it done."

The American health insurance system is a scam RFK JR says “The whole system is corrupt.” They found - Hip replacement in Boston costs $17,900 at one hospital, and at a nearby hospital, it costs $74,000 for the exact same surgery - Researchers have found MRI prices varying as much as 9x within a single city - One analysis found that 60% of insurer-negotiated hospital rates were higher than the hospital's own cash price “Think about that. The insurance company, who is supposed to be negotiating for all of its members and beating down the price, has actually negotiated a price that is higher than if you just walked into that hospital off the street and asked for that procedure” “The whole system was corrupt. It was crooked. And there was no marketplace, and that was deliberate. That was by design. There was no marketplace and those are not signals of a functioning market. Markets cannot discipline prices that they cannot see” I looked into this exact study, over 2,300 hospitals were looked at and what they found was - Cash price is better nearly 60% of the time - Cash discounts averaged about 64% of normal price, this is often cheaper than insurance rates Insurance is a scam

I don’t care what the NCGOP or any other conservatives beef is with Whatley nor do I care if Whatley was born in Michigan… ain’t no way in hell I’m voting for Roy got damn Cooper… ever! I ain’t sorry, kiss my redneck Carolinian a**… Also, Cassie kicks ass 🫡
It appears I’ve come under fire by some republicans for interviewing Whatley. Weird, but okay. Let’s discuss, shall we? First and foremost, I’m a podcaster. That’s what podcasters do. They have conversations with people - especially high profile people. That’s kinda the whole point of having a podcast. Then I full on endorsed Whatley during our interview. But why? Why would the NC Queen cheer on a guy from **shudders** Michigan to win Tillis’s open senate seat? That’s easy: Cooper was a tyrant of a governor who will be a tyrant of a senator. He failed native North Carolinians consistently and repeatedly over his 40 years in office. Even worse? He will push for a radical progressive agenda - something that is squarely at odds with the culture of North Carolina. Whatley may not be perfect - but he IS the better choice. That’s why I’m cheering on a non native North Carolinian for our US Senate seat - because I know he’s a better representative of my views and my way of life than the homegrown politician. That’s just common sense. I reckon some folks weren’t blessed with that. Pity. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There are no words to express how much I despise this man. I hope I never have to look at his face again after he's finally out of office. POS needs to move to another state, we don't want him here in NC.
🚨New: North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis says Republicans should stop investing money into the North Carolina Senate Race “We've gotta keep a majority. We've got to make sure Susan Collins wins. We've got to focus on Alaska. We've got to focus on Ohio and Texas.”

NORTH CAROLINA: With the stroke of a pen, Roy Cooper released 3,500 prisoners. Innocent families paid the price because Roy Cooper chose CRIMINALS over North Carolinians. Roy Cooper has been in politics 40 years, and we’re paying the price.

Roy Cooper attacks Whatley over oil stocks while his own VinFast EV plant sold as NC’s “largest economic development” with 7,500 jobs — completely collapsed. Taxpayers stuck with the mess as the state sues to take the land back. VOTE Whatley 🇺🇸
Oil companies are reporting historic profits this quarter, while NC is struggling to fill up at the pump. Know who else is profiting? My opponent, Michael Whatley, thanks to his stock in these companies that he refuses to sell and the Iran war he continues to support.

685 days of this madness. Reminder- You could have five people at your family’s funeral but George Floyd’s second or third funeral in North Carolina had +100 people. Roy Cooper is a monster.
🚨REMINDER: As Roy Cooper forced North Carolinians to stay locked down at home during COVID, he proudly marched with BLM rioters in Raleigh. Cooper and Fauci: rules for thee but not for me

I have nothing in common with a man who supports Chinese/CCP business in North Carolina, doesn't support women in women's sports, doesn't support women's safe space , believes in child mutilation, and literally killed people with Covid vaccines. You're a communist sympathizer, a pathological liar and support murdering your own citizens.
We have so much more in common than we realize. We all want good schools, a good paying job, clean air and water and good opportunities for future generations.

🚨 America needs MORE skilled workers Mike Rowe: "The Pentagon needs 400,000 welders and electricians just for submarine contracts over the next seven or eight years. It's mind-boggling—and they're all competing for your kid."

Does it really matter how much damage ibuprofen or Tylenol do? Drs no longer prescribe pain medication. Those of us that suffer from chronic pain have to get relief wherever we can.
Millions Taking Ibuprofen May Be at Serious Risk, Studies Show Before you take your next dose, make sure you’re not in the danger zone. For these five groups of people, ibuprofen poses serious health risks that outweigh potential benefits.👇

11, 12, and 14 years old. Raped for days by more than 20 Pakistani immigrants. Tortured—one had her tongue nailed to the wall to keep her still while they raped her. The police ridiculed, insulted, and ignored them. The feminists turned the other way. If it hadn't been for Elon Musk, who publicly shared the trial testimonies, sparking outrage from Reform UK and internal investigations, no one would have known anything. You're not angry enough. - @babetta123
