i think we should make a petition to force dhh to release the chat histories, to learn from his mysterious prompting techniques.

Thank you, this was the last thing that was missing from this Vibe benchmark discussion. Hopefully people will move on and start building useful products instead of vibe optimizing everything.

Yes, we have to bully them until they come up with a better demo idea.

Oh FFS. It turns out the req/s in the initial vibed Rust version is within the same order of magnitude as the initial vibed Elixir/Go versions, and even performs worse in some of them. The history is in the repository! The Rust version only got faster with a bunch of additional work. The initial Elixir/Go versions presented in the tweet below saw none of this additional work. It was comparing a 300 commits Rust version with a 2-3 commits Elixir/Go version. Source: github.com/basecamp/once-cam…
I've had agents implement and optimize the Campfire web app in Elixir, Go, and Rust. Yes, Ruby is the slowest. I didn't care about that when the pay-off was huge in terms of productivity and developer joy. But if you're no longer reading the code? github.com/basecamp/once-cam…
Community note
The shown benchmarks use non-equivalent implementations: Elixir routes all DB queries through a single GenServer with Redis for jobs (retained from Rails), while Rust uses in-process queues, omits CSRF tags/fields, and applies other caching changes. github.com/basecamp/once-… raw.githubusercontent.com/basecamp/once-… github.com/basecamp/once-… github.com/basecamp/once-… x.com/zachsdaniel1/s

I see herdr there, might as well put tmux and ghostty. They also orchestrate agents, if the agent uses too many resources it gets killed.

Your tools are the best, I install mise and HK, in almost all the projects that I build, and now I started using Mr boxington on all the rust projects!

Bro it's just an API call, you're not going bankrupt. And the MCP calls even have a quota.

Hey David, Gayani here from Figma. You're right that our remote MCP server only accepts clients on our supported list, and Pi isn't on it yet. You can see the current list in our MCP catalog at figma.com/mcp-catalog. If you'd like Pi considered for a future addition, please fill out this form: forms.gle/qSvUawwznWyoj8Go7.

Something like this already works, but people are no longer bothered to look up better ways of doing it. Just use likec4.dev
had a crazy idea today for the past two months i've been building a pretty massive app and truth be told, i often play catch-up on architecture, because features move so damn fast so today i asked claude (opus 5.5, high) "I have a weird task for you. I want you to look at the app and create, for lack of a better word, a canvas that I can zoom in and zoom out and move around to see how our architecture actually works." (full prompt in first comment) this came out pretty great and it truly visualized, with steps and connected graphs what everything does 10/10 would recommend

criv: ADRs + policy as code Broken links, stale source refs, and ADRs that no longer match the code fail criv check before they land. In the latest version: Elixir support, LikeC4 maps in VS Code + Obsidian, agent-ready errors.
