Red Sox, this is an easy thing to do. Manny knows more about hitting than all the combined knowledge of everyone involved in their hitting setup combined. My only question is if he's committed to actuallly coaching.
Manny Ramirez is seeking a hitting coach job in MLB, agent Hector Zepeda said. Ramirez, who hit 555 HRs and batted .312, last worked as a player/coach for the Sydney Blue Sox in Australia in 2020-21. He's so determined to get back in the game he’s willing to go to the minors.

Look, obviously knowing what we know, Duran should have been traded after the 2024 season, and he absolutely should have been traded after last season.
But the person who deserves the most blame for Jarren Duran's performance... is Jarren Duran
By my count, there have 44 9-WAR seasons in the last 50 years. Only 4 other times has a player been worth less than 5 WAR two seasons later in which Covid or injury didn't cut their season short:
2006 Barry Bonds: 4.0
1993 Cal Ripken Jr.: 3.7
2003 Sammy Sosa: 2.7
2003 Jason Giambi: 4.8
All those players were at least 32 years old and still productive players
There is no precedent for a guy like Duran in the prime of his career going from an MVP candidate to replacement level over a two-season span.
To say anyone saw this drop-off coming is lying

The last 2 drafts, the Browns had 9 picks in the top-90. All 9 look like hits so far (Fano, KC, Boston, EMW, Barber, Graham, Schwes, Judkins, Fannin).
This team still has question marks, but credit to Andrew Berry and the CLE scouts/FO. Good organizations maximize Day 1/2 picks

He was incredible at CB today and he didn’t come off the field! It’s time for things to stay that way!
Rotate Buster and Jarrian opposite him on one side and let Travis be the superstar CB that he is full time on the other side!
