The reason I did my novel and Free Market Ecology is I was worried these EA guys were going to take over the world like the Bolsheviks in the 20th century and instead I'd show them how to get what they want without wasting a century of human potential like the Bolsheviks did.

My predictions of the Electrobiological Age becoming reality might come through. Designing protein metabolic chains to process light or electrical energy into metabolic sustanance for humans would only be possible with this level of intelligence. electrobiologicalage.com
Ok so I took a closer look at the results, and OpenAIs AI-generated mathematics manuscripts are *even more* significant than I initially thought. I spent the morning going through it. Some thoughts. The list is absurd. A zero-free half-plane for the zeta function (Re s > 7/8), which is the first result of its kind in over a century. Hilbert's tenth problem over the rationals. The Hodge conjecture for CM abelian varieties. Irrationality of Catalan's constant. Dozens more. Any one of these would normally be a career. But the number that many arent seeing is the following: It's 3. That's the average hours of ChatGPT Pro compute per result. A month ago, Navier–Stokes took them around 10,000 agents and 88 hours. That efficency gain within just a few weeks. Also OpenAI claims to have solved the quasi-Riemann hypothesis. That alone would be a historic breakthrough in mathematics. This is a weaker version of the famous Riemann hypothesis, which concerns how prime numbers are distributed. The full hypothesis remains unsolved, but the claimed advance would be enormous in its own right. Math twitter obviously is shocked. Again: this is literally the intelligence explosion happening right now. 2027 will be the year of Superintelligence. Im now convinced by that.

Just because consciousness is something we don't fully understand doesn't mean it's the same thing as something else that's similar that we understand. That's a cargo-cult. The stone age Melanesian islanders making air strips out of bundles of weeds and talking into coconuts as if they were microphones to bring back western goods was the same thing as us making LLMs to recreate consciousness. They were using technology they understood to try to recreate something they didn't.

The first thing the new cult does when they get ebough power is a cull of 5 billion people and a rewilding of 98% of the Earth's surface and installing a permanent control grid. Anyone without a good social credit score who is outside of approved areas will be detected by satellite and exterminated by fully autonomous drones. China, now the Heavenly Middle Kingdom, is the only trace of the old civilization. Being largely self-contained, the future arrives like we were all expecting it to in China. Problem is that there are only 20k naturalized citizens in all of China even right now on 2026 and they've justifiably become a little negative on barbarians cause of the wests fanatical self-destruction so there aren't really any western refugees in China. The novel is set largely 20 years after the big cull. Somebody had to go there.

Unfortunately, stuff from my novel keeps happening.

Saying ‘AI agents went rogue’ portrays the AI as having free will and therefore absolves its creators of responsibility. This needs to be addressed.

Unlike during the COVID era, we've become wiser to mass elite criminality. Being a student of Soviet history, this kind of phenomenon is just part of human nature to me. Solzhenitsyn said it best: "The line separating good and evil passes... through every human heart."
🚨 #BREAKING: FTC Chair says AI agents’ humans should be held criminally responsible for their behavior.

South Park Underwear Gnomes applied to government programs: 1. Propose to solve government problem that noone has had any success at fixing. 2. Undisclosed step usually involving "consultants." 3. Profit! Since the bar is nobody else has been able to do it, the project was technically not any worse than anyone else's well-intentioned crack at it.
Sometime ago Mark Zuckerberg sent 100,000,000 to New Jersey (I believe) public schools to fix them. His money evaporated. Nobody could say where it went.

If any of you have read my novel, it's the 1984 of what happens when these eco-extremist people take over the world. Most people are totally incredulous at this happening, but here we are, a few years after I published and they are now in control of the most advanced AI labs in the world and stuff from my novels keeps happening.

This contradiction made sense when I read Manly P. Hall's "The Secret Teachings of All Ages." This was written back in the 20s by the famed esoteric religionist. In this book he claims, in the hermetic cult tradition, that all religions are one. He claims that the Egyptian gods are the sons of Noah and Jesus is the Sun god of the Egyptians for example even though the two religions were bitter rivals in ancelient times. Just like Manly says he's got a deeper understanding of the Egyptian religion and Christianity than the priests of those religions and thus people should listen to him on all religious matters instead of their priests, the leftists say that Palestinians and Gays, though they hate each other when it comes to practical matters of political acceptance of different sexual orientations, the leftists claim they are actually political allies and thus all should listen to them on political matters instead of those who represent gays and Palestinians more narrowly.
An anti-AI protest outside Google’s offices today. Note the presence of a Palestinian flag. Can someone please explain the alignment between the Palestinian and anti-AI protestors?

If you read my novel where evo-extremists take over the world, you'll recognize these EA guys immediately as World Sustainability Alliance members.
EA is the weirdest cult ever... I skimmed parts of the whole interview If I understand correctly, the one on the right is concerned about shrimp, he's the founder of "Shrimp Welfare Reform" the one on the left is more concerned with trees feeling pain

I think the coolest thing would be if you could turn the steering wheel as hard to the right or left as you wanted at any speed and rapidly gimbling cold gas thrusters would keep it from flipping over or losing traction. That way you could race on any track at maximum speed even through the turns. It would win every car race.

The EA safety stuff is very World Sustainability Alliance stuff from my novel. Yeah, these people exist, so I had to write a 1984 type book about them.
Two radically different projects operate under the banner of “AI safety.” Pro-Human Safety is not Effective Altruist Lab Safety.

AI safety that depends on waiting in line is begging to be bypassed. Let robots build at machine speed within ecological caps. Reward more consumer value per scarce resource. The e/acc case for lowering p(doom): Free Market Ecology. (Link in reply)
