Imagine a person buying a mere club jersey for $180, that’s over 250k in Nigerian currency. If you had invested this same amount into a football viewing center around local areas in Lagos like Ikorodu now that a new season is commencing soon. You’ll have given an unemployed person a job, put food on people’s tables and contributed positively to the economy of this great country. At the end of the season, you could even be looking at 8–10 million in revenue from this business. But no, we must buy expensive things and flex on twitter & instagram just to impress people who don’t even care about us. This country will not develop like this..
