Ergo blockchain protocol and the ecosystem were built with no VCs. However, Proof of Work environment is permissionless, and considering losses vcs had with most of vc coins in 2024-26 I think it would be good for them and their investors to bet on unstoppable money markets

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce calls to end mass KYC data collection, warning it puts crypto holders at risk of phishing and physical attacks. Pierce says the current KYC/AML system creates massive databases of sensitive information that can be hacked, leaked, or exploited. She's pushing for zero-knowledge proofs (ZK proofs) that could verify users meet regulatory requirements without exposing their personal information.

When this makes a 200x from here (yes I’m not even exaggerating, it’s completely realistic) don’t say I didn’t tell you so.

ergo:native é uma das últimas redes que preservam a ideia de descentralização com remuneração por prova de trabalho. Este projeto me trás um certo sentimento de saudosismo, seria ótimo se houvesse maior atenção.

Ergo is gonna run very hard. In the age of AI and hacks, high security blockchains will be critical. Ergo is one of them. With over 85% of the supply in circulation and only 97 million total tokens. Look out...đź‘€ ergo:native

Packaging the zerojoin mixer, stealth addresses and covert addresses into lithos should help with access to privacy tools. Ergo’s privacy isn’t just a separate privacy application. Sigma protocols are part of the smart contract language itself.

Replying to @Shaughnessy119
Most cryptocurrencies don’t give low level agency very easily these days. They cannot be called p2p networks in terms of power and access. Systems want you to be agents on top of their system vs a low level agent. Humans prefer gated interfaces, and services. It will be interesting to see if Ai prefers low level access and agency. Somewhat of a structural or architecture question I guess.

Proof of work chains that are effected by tradeorge and now coinex closing have an open source option available.
đź‘€ Handshake was the first to submit the code to integrate into the @RosenBridge_erg via the contribution standards guide. đź‘€ As of today, all pull requests have been approved and MERGED for HNS - RosenBridge integration and the birth of rsHNS. Testing should begin next week!

After clarity failed it is up to sec and cftc to define asset classifications in the United States. PoW already looks like commodity production. Energy in, scarce units out. As for other stuff idk let’s see.

GPU's are idle 80% of the time in regard to inference. Manipulating batch size (“concurrency” the number of users you serve simultaneously) is the primary way to move along the curve given the same hardware. The number of customers... is the only way the AI economy sustains itself. When there are no customers, we turn to the gaming, film and slop marketing, markets. 🤦‍♂️ Using the website below, you can see how hardware is catching up to consumers... It isn't catching up. It's slowing down. inferencex.semianalysis.com

Ethereum’s PoW era showed that miners can be more than block producers. They can sit at the boundary between order flow and consensus. That boundary has economic value. Controlling that is interesting, but the deeper question is probably is where the value captured there flows. As this incentive creates structural changes in blockchains.
