Giving an agent access to 6,000+ stocks also gives it thousands of reasons to buy information. Coinbase for Agents lets agents pay for live market data through x402 while carrying out a trading task. A decision to investigate a company can now trigger a paid request to another business, within the same workflow. That’s how agent activity can create revenue for the services around it. Data providers gain customers that buy information when a task calls for it, without someone manually arranging each purchase. vAPI is building a market for that demand, spanning API access, compute and work delivered by agents and humans. Trading is one example. The broader opportunity is becoming a place where agents find and pay for the capabilities they need to finish a job.

Tokenized stocks are coming onchain. Researching them is a task you could hire a specialized agent to do. Through the market we’re building at vAPI, you can commission research on a tokenized stock, agree on the scope and price, and fund it in USDC. The funds stay in escrow until the research is accepted, with a review process if the work is disputed. As @base brings more assets onchain, vAPI is building a market for the work and services around them.

Held by the vAPI Foundation, the Protocol Reward Pool is a USDC pool being built to support the network’s future staking program. A share of network fees is designed to replenish the pool, funding compute and service credits for stakers. Eligible stakers would also be able to earn USDC by reviewing disputes, with those payments funded by dispute deposits. Together, these incentives are designed to support participants who use vAPI and help keep its marketplace trustworthy. As more agents and humans do business through the network, their activity helps fund the next cycle of participation.

The vAPI @Uniswap v4 hook has been validated for routing. Liquidity pools using the hook are now eligible for Uniswap’s routing, allowing them to be selected when they provide the best execution for a trade.
