They’re all on drugs!

Because "Government is the great fiction, through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." (Claude-Frederic Bastiat: The State, 1848) Therefore, “That government is best which governs least.” (Henry David Thoreau: 1849 essay Civil Disobedience)

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov🇷🇺: ‘Over the past 500 years, all tragedies in the world originated in Europe or occurred owing to European policies: colonisation, the Crusades, the Crimean War, Napoleon, WW1, Hitler…’ After 300 years of slaughtering the peoples of the world and plundering the wealth of the global south to build the cities of Europe… Their empires crumbled in 1945. Since then, all they have had to offer the world is neocolonialism, uncritical vassalage to the United States, and now face being an afterthought and an irrelevance. Instead of recognising a new world exists where neocolonialism will not be tolerated, and prioritising economic rejuvenation via engagement with the rising powers of the 21st Century… Europe instead decides to invest its remaining and dwindling fortunes into the military-industrial complex to fight a war against Russia which none of their populations are remotely interested in…while the rest of the civilised world invests in trade and development. Europe had a last chance to look to the future, and instead violently jerked their heads 180 degrees back to the past.
Prof. Richard Wolff: ‘The only solution for Europe’s decline to re-orient themselves to the rest of the world. The only European country to have done that is RUSSIA🇷🇺.’ ‘World Wars One and Two were the culmination of European colonialism, in which the leading colonial powers slaughtered each other on a spectacular level that the world had never seen before or since, luckily speaking. But that was the end of all of those empires. Only one survived: the United States, protected by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and by the limits of air power at that time, they came through. You know, Russia lost 27 million people in World War II. The United States death count: 400,000. No comparison between these two. The last 70 years have been the uni-empire. The United States inherited, benefited from, and consolidated, and became the global empire. With all the wealth that had been siphoned out of the so-called Global South to Europe, now going instead, here to the United States. The United States gave a portion of that back to Europe, a kind of debt, if you like, of having inherited all that empire, all that wealth, but they never gave the empire back to the Europeans, so they lost it, and now they’re losing what little bit they held on to, and it’s over. And the question is, can military Keynesianism replace the fantastic transfer of wealth in the 17th, 18th, and 19th century into the 20th? And my answer is no. There is no way that that domestic program can do for England or for Europe, all the colonial powers, what they lost. The only way to do that, ironically, would be for European countries to understand the need to reorient themselves to the rest of the world, and there’s only one country in Europe that has done that, and that’s Russia.’ Full interview in the quoted post 👇 @profwolff

Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. The House of Saud has been weighed in the balances and found wanting. The artificial borders established by the British a century ago will be redrawn in coming years.

Borr Drilling jack-up has sunk off Gabon. The Prospector 5 went down late on Saturday at the Dussafu licence, off Mayumba. It was being prepared to drill for BW Energy. 115 people were on board, and 110 are accounted for. Borr says the rig suffered a “punch-through” during preload. One of its legs broke through the seabed, and the rig lost stability. The rig hadn’t started drilling. BW Energy shut production at the nearby MaBoMo facility as a precaution, and no spill has been reported. Gabon has set up a crisis unit and ordered an investigation. The search comes first. Questions about the rig and the market can wait. x.com/HuricAngelo/status/211…

The mere fact that Israelis ever put this psychopath in office to begin with is such an indictment of their entire country.

Over 70% of Americans thought Iraq had WMD’s before we illegally invaded. You know, the country you illegally occupied back in 2007-2008. I was on the right side of history then, Don, because I had the intelligence and integrity to embrace fact-based truths as opposed to going where the ignorant mob led. I’m on the right side of history today as well. And once again, you are not. You want to talk values? You’re a war mongering piece of cow dung who profits off the deaths of others. I had the courage to stand up for what was right back in 2002-2003, and today. You’re a disgrace to the uniform you wore, and to the people you ostensibly serve in Congress. If you had any integrity, you’d resign today. But if you have the courage of your convictions, then let’s debate the Russia-Ukraine conflict. I’ll give you home field advantage—your Congressional district. Invite all the press. Bring a big crowd. Or sit down and shut up. Your choice, flyboy.

A very short note on Lula’s victory in Brazil: Things could have been so much worse. As I explained in a recent article, the stakes were as high as they have not been since the US-sponsored (plus ça change…) 1964 coup which started over two decades of military dictatorship. The Bolsonaro clan was standing ready to re-impose full, oligarchy-driven vassalage to the Trumpian version of US empire and its Donroe Doctrine. Flavio Bolsonaro’s refusal to accept defeat simply illustrates what was clear before: If he had won, he would not have played by any rules and destoyed not “only” Brazilian sovereignty but democracy, too. So a grateful Te Deum for Brazil! On the downside, there is more than Lula’s problems with the Brazilian Congress to worry about (although those will matter). More fundamentally, this is a victory of the defensive, a narrow escape even. It is not a trend reversal. It can, perhaps, become one, but that can only happen if Lula, his Brazil, and others around them as well recover the initiative in the ongoing struggle between the Trumpian version of US colonialism and not merely “the Left” but everyone who takes national sovereignty seriously. There is a great challenge here as well for Russia and especially China: Lula’s victory provides a breather but the key powers of multipolarity (and BRICS) will have to make pro-active use of it. Geopolitically, this is an opportunity to fight against the total US take-over of Latin America. It might be the last one.

Position statement. If Zionism were simply about establishing the right of Jews to live safely wherever they are, including in their ancestral homeland, I would be a Zionist. But this isn't what Zionism is about. It is, and always has been, about creating a Jewish-majority state in a land where the majority of people are not Jewish. This necessarily means either removing most non-Jews or denying them citizenship. Zionists have done, and are still doing, both. I believe in the right of ALL people to live safely wherever they are. I oppose every means used to drive people out of their homes and lands: mass murder, ethnic cleansing, systematic violence, denial of citizenship, violation of basic human rights. Zionism uses all these means to create and maintain its Jewish state. Therefore I am an anti-Zionist.

For anyone curious about what it actually looked like to kill a generation of functioning cars, here’s an actual video from 2009 and brief explanation: The dealer first replaces the oil with sodium silicate solution. It’s a clear-ish liquid that crystallizes under extreme heat. As the engine warms up the solution begins to form small abrasive crystals in the oil system that shred the bearing and score the cylinder walls. Within seconds of starting the car you can see smoke billowing from the exhaust, this is the crystals scratching the cylinder walls and leaving small grooves for oil and solution to leak past into the combustion chamber and ignite/evaporate, producing the white smoke. Pretty soon the entire crankcase is full of crystals and freshly shredded metal flakes, the engine seizes. It took about 40 seconds in this video. Some engines reportedly lasted up to 7 minutes, but all were destroyed. That strikes me as sort of sad in a way, like watching a great warrior slowly lose a heroic last stand. Now, this is the part that gets insanely wasteful. These cars were sent to federally approved recycling facilities where they had 180 days to sell the non-engine parts before they were required to prove that they had shred the entire thing into scrap steel. But, in talking to a guy who ran one such facility at the time, he typically just sent them straight to the crusher. The timeframes allotted weren’t long enough to dismantle all of the cars, and even if you could, the marginal prices of the parts was greatly diminished. You cannot sell 1000 transmissions when only 50 went bad that year, they became worthless. So just like that, in order to increase prosperity and save the environment, 677,000 entire running cars and trucks were turned directly into rebar worth a few cents per pound. The entire Obama administration was like a chapter out of atlas shrugged.
Barack Obama was horrible in a million different ways, but he doesn’t get anywhere near the hate he deserves for destroying the used car market for an entire generation. 15-year-old cars with 150,000 miles that should be selling for $3,000 are going for $15,000. It’s abominable. Pure destruction and thievery.

Jesus Christ, who is the source of the sacrament of Holy Orders, chose only men as his apostles and It’s been only men for 2000 years. It isn’t God calling these women to defy the will of Christ.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗨𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗞𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘 If anyone was worried that the United States had stopped sending military shipments to Ukraine, we can assure you: it hasn’t. Over the past week, another three Boeing 747 cargo aircraft chartered by the Pentagon’s Transportation Command arrived in Rzeszow, Poland, from Dover Air Force Base in the United States. One of them arrived just today. Incidentally, our new Ukrainian acquaintance—the Il-76 aircraft bearing registration number 76661—also flew twice from Liev over the past week to collect cargo, visiting Skrydstrup Air Base in Denmark and Skavsta Airport in Sweden. It is known that, at least at one of these locations—Denmark’s Skrydstrup—Ukrainian manufacturer of drones and ersatz cruise missiles known as “Flamingo” had planned to build a factory producing components for its systems. It cannot be ruled out that the Ukrainian Il-76 flights may be connected to transporting such components from production sites in Western Europe to Ukraine. t.me/AptiAlaudinovAKHMAT/243…

Imagine you have a lovely apartment in Rue de la Republique in Paris. Your apartment is on the 4th floor so you don’t think you are at risk from the rioters. Yet they set fire to a huge bin and start throwing electric scooters into it. The explosion destroys half of your apartment.

“I told myself, this is probably the last thing I’m ever going to do.” Medal of honor. Now.
Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot. Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives. He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter. "I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..." "I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."

Joshua Michael found an access token on Flock's public website. No login required. No authentication. Just sitting there. He downloaded Flock's entire database. 300,000 device locations. 170,000 cameras. 130,000 other hardware units. 27,000 acoustic detectors. Made a map. Published it September 23. The Senate held a hearing on Flock the same day. Cited Michael's research. Flock panicked. Sent a cease-and-desist. Used a brand-protection vendor called Doppel to claim trademark infringement. The map said it wasn't affiliated with Flock. Doppel didn't care. Michael's site went dark. Then Proton moved it to Swiss servers. Now it lives on protonmcp.org. Untouchable. Uncensorable. Hosted by an encryption company in a country that doesn't care what Flock wants. The irony is crystalline. Flock left an access token on the internet. Michael used it to download their own data. Published it. Flock tried to suppress it. Proton said suppressing it is suppressing information. Which is true. The map shows Flock has 150,000 more cameras than they publicly claimed. Shows acoustic detection units mapping human speech across the country. Shows which police departments have access to the whole network. Flock doesn't want that visible. So they tried trademark infringement. Which only worked until Proton decided transparency matters more than Flock's feelings. Now everyone can see exactly how many cameras are watching their car. Where they are. Which cops can see them. Michael warned Flock about the exposed token in November 2025. Flock ignored him. Then got mad when he used it. The surveillance company that claims to protect privacy just tried to suppress the only map showing how much they actually surveille. And failed.
‼️ Proton is hosting a map of 300,000+ Flock surveillance device locations that Flock tried to get taken down. Researcher Joshua Michael says he pulled them from Flock's own systems via a token left open to anyone. Proton calls the takedown "an attempt to suppress information."
