🇺🇸 The U.S. withdraws from a European anti-corruption panel The Trump administration formally notified the Council of Europe that the United States is leaving the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO). The decision is part of a broader strategy to disengage from international bodies the administration considers inefficient, outside its mandate, or out of line with U.S. policy. The United States is only the third country ever to exit the panel, after Russia and Belarus.

Only the third country to leave GRECO after Russia and Belarus. Really making ‘America First’ look like ‘Authoritarian Club’ membership

If I became president and increased my net worth by $3-4 Billion in 2 years while pardoning convicted fraudsters and drug traffickers I'd also not want to be part of a corruption panel

Since the U.S. has one of the most corrupt administrations in the world, comparable to those of Russia and Belarus, remaining on anti-corruption panel would be a joke. The U.S. exit is justified.

Bodies like GRECO are run by unelected bureaucrats with self-interests. The administration’s position is that sanctions, visa restrictions, and targeted investigations do more against corruption that actually affects the US. Unelected panels that cost dues for reports and recommendations are low-return. Leaving is the only option, and it is consistent with treating other multilateral panels the same way. 🇺🇸💪

Frankly, the council of Europe is incredibly corrupt. So it’s not like they were doing much. Unless covering up corruption was the job

Makes sense, the most corrupt president in US history being part of an anti corruption group is like having Hilter in the Jewish Defense League 🤷‍♀️

This is strictly a cost cutting measure. There are a lot of these "panels" that have zero authority or power but instead rely on "public shaming". It only works on countries that care what others think, which corrupt countries do not. HOAs have more power.

You know what, I really don't put nothing past anything this crackpot President is liable to do. I really believe his intentions are to destroy the United States and start over a new? This is inline with his stance to stay in power. But to all those who are rejoicing over the fact that the U.S. is about to impload, it will hit your country too. Because the U.S. is and has been the backbone of more than 50% of the countries in the world... MAY GOD HELP THOSE WHO JESUS DOES NOT KNOW!!!!!!!

Are we surprised? If the US regime were to be investigated for corruption GRECO would have to be working on it 24/7 365 days and yet would still barely scrape the surface!
