If you splinter the sex characteristic in the Equality Act lesbians and gay men lose the right to single sex political assembly
If that's where you want to be as unions, well, fine I suppose
But you are firmly anti gay rights, you are the new s.28
A clear message from our Chair:
"Just because something is the law, does not mean it is right.
Laws can be wrong.
Section 28 was the law, and it was wrong.
And you know what the Labour government did?
It changed the law.
It can be done.
It must be done."

Not only has the EU evolved since we left, it has evolved into a different shape than it would have been had we not left.
At no stage have I ever said the EU would collapse — because I’ve never thought it would. My point was that the EU we left in 2016 is morphing/will morph into something very different. Difficult to see how anybody could gainsay that. But no doubt X’s legion of know-nothing nutters will try.

These are the unions:
ASLEF, Community, CWU, FBU, GMB, MU, NUM, TSSA, UNISON, Unite, and USDAW.
These unions protested the Women’s Conference for excluding men.
They support the Labour Party financially. If you don’t want your money being used this way, you need to contract out.

EXCL- The pro-trans protests that threatens to overshadow Burnham’s first Labour conference REVEALED…
A protest outside the Women’s Conference on Saturday will be joined my Labour politicians and trade unionists from across the UK.
The demo - against the ban on trans delegates - has been backed by the powerful trade unions council body in Liverpool.
Leaflets picturing Burnham - seen by Metro - and criticising Labour will be distributed to attendees.
Metro can also confirm that the Communication Workers Union is the fifth union to boycott the conference over the trans ban, following Unison, Aslef, Usdaw and Musicians Union.
Community note
This is untrue. Trans delegates have not been banned - men have.
The Labour Women’s Conference is for women. Transmen would be able to attend.
