重生之 ：我在纳斯达克重头创业 —— 一个"不务正业"的上市公司CEO自白 外人看Amber这几年，大概是逆袭的剧本： FTX暴雷时差点倒闭，活了下来；熬过23年大熊市，等来了牛市；完成了上市、去纳斯达克敲了钟。剧情完美。 但只有我自己知道，24、25这两年，是我创业九年里最煎熬的两年。 煎熬不是因为业务或行情，而是因为从24年起，我作为Amber的CEO，70%的时间、几乎100%的兴趣，都花在一件当时内部看起来"不务正业"的事情上：做AI agents——那会儿，甚至还没有agent这个说法。 24年，我作为Amber一家大几百人公司的CEO，大多数时间却泡在内部一个很小的团队里（这支团队倒是后来历经重重考验，成了我们今天AI Enablers的雏形）。我带着他们做了几个AI agent项目（again，那时候它们也不叫agents，大家都不知道该叫什么）。先是做了个扮演我们销售、客服的amber bot。当时连harness的概念都不存在，loop、tool call全靠手搓。东西很糙，但我乐在其中，而且越做越确信：这就是我2017年创立Amber AI时看到的未来：5到10年内，大部分经济行为，都会由AI智能体驱动。也是那年，明明还在crypto大牛市里，我发起amber.ac加速器，在开幕演讲上大声喊出"crypto for AI"（“crypto应用不是给人用的，真正的用户是未来的AI智能体！”）台下，没几个人当真。 25年，我们做了个更超前的项目：aiac。试了很多东西，包括一件很酷、但酷到当时的模型和交互根本接不住的事——我们孵化的第一个agent，MIA（今天依然是我们AMBR智能体家族的长姐），有一个当时没人做过的能力：她能一边实时观察你的操作——鼠标移到哪、输入又删掉了什么——一边即时给建议、做互动。这个项目，坦白说，又失败了。但它生出了MIA。最早的MIA，作为一家crypto公司的marketing agent，只能管管我们几个社媒账号，每天生产一堆偶尔精品、绝大多数很烂的AI梗图（受限于当时的模型，烂得非常真诚）。 也是25年，我在公司里过得很孤独。一家做了快十年crypto finance公司里，有人想做交易，有人想做投资，有人想借着上市平台做集团化。这些都对，都是好生意，但都不是我想做的事。我犹豫过，心软过，甚至觉得对不起大家。但作为创业者，我没办法背叛自己的内心。分歧最激烈的时候，内部几乎是撕裂的。25年底，我做了九年来最难、但也最坚定的决定：归拢一切资源，做我内心最坚持的那件事：Build AI Agents。许多一路并肩的早期伙伴离开了，这里没有对错，只有感谢。 26年初，我一边收整团队、回归管理，一边反而抽出几乎所有零碎时间（有几天甚至连续不眠不休，我都37了！）干了件更任性的事：2月到3月，两个月里，我给自己做了11个specialised agents，研究和手搓了一堆harness、各种tools，把我的工作、生活、投资、交易、社交、健康、自我提升，全部交给我的个人agents打理。项目代号：extend me。这不是玩具，是我在用一次次vibe coding亲手验证一件事：各类垂直场景里的AI agents，到底能不能为一个真实、具体的人，创造真实、具体的价值。 答案是能！这个过程还让我更坚定了另一个判断：一家AI agent公司想成功，founder自己必须对什么是AI agent、怎么搭AI agent，有足够深的手感。 然后是我最想讲的故事。今年3月，我把aiac那支"失败"的团队，连同"失败"的MIA，整队开进了我们上市时收购后一直没精力打理的B端广告业务：iClick和CMRS。短短几个月，出乎几乎所有人（除了我）的意料：这块和Amber主业毫无关系的传统业务，焕发了新生——世界500强客户更满意了，内部运营大面积自动化，大量workflow完成了agent化，甚至开始自我迭代。上个月，从aiac失败中成长出来的MIA，成为我们第一个直接面向用户的垂类AI智能体产品。 有一位商业上比我成功得多、也年长得多的朋友，开过我一个玩笑："Michael，Amber这些年的问题，就在于你这个创始人太聪明、精力太旺盛，什么都想做：就像白天当大学教授，晚上还要去大学门口摆摊卖烤串。" 想想，确实如此。创业九年，Amber远没有达到我想要的高度，于我，最大的教训就是两个字：专注。 所以接下来十年，我要重新出发，只做一件事：Build AI Agents。 2017年9月，我创立这家公司时，它叫Amber AI。九年里，我们做过交易，做过crypto finance gateway，做过投资方，敲过钟。现在，我终于要回去实现内心最真实的梦想了。 9月1日，Amber会以一个（你可能会觉得似曾相识的）新名字，以一家接下来十年只专注做一件事——Build AI Agents——的新公司亮相。我们的旗舰AI agent，和已经悄悄上线一个月的MIA全新版本，也在同一天和大家见面。 回首我的创业前九年，Amber随着crypto finance的从零到一，有过成功与失败。 接下来十年，我只做一件事，build AI Agents that get you there。让AI智能体，为你创造真实、具体的价值。 9月1日，香港见。
