Caraxes really loves being wherever Daemon Targaryen is because he knows there is always a strong chance someone is about to get burned. That is what makes their bond so entertaining in House of the Dragon. Daemon does not need long speeches or dramatic commands for Caraxes to understand the assignment. One look, one mood shift, and the Blood Wyrm is already ready to cause absolute chaos. Caraxes feels less like a dragon waiting for orders and more like Daemon’s own temper given wings. He is restless, aggressive, loyal, and always prepared to make any situation ten times more dangerous. No wonder they are one of the most iconic rider-dragon duos in the series. Wherever Daemon goes, Caraxes follows, probably hoping someone gives him a reason to hear “Dracarys.”
