Farewell to Kenni “wezx” Holmberg 🫡💙 Today, we say goodbye to someone who has made a remarkable impact on EAC in just three months. Three months ago, Kenni Rye “@wezxCS2” Holmberg joined us as our Head Coach. In that short period of time, he managed to leave a mark on this club that will last far beyond his time with us. Kenni brought much more than his tactical knowledge. His anti-strat work, his pedagogical approach and his ability to bring people together quickly became a huge part of what made this team click. Most importantly, Kenni has an incredible personality and an ability to make everyone around him better, both inside and outside the server. With very limited resources and very little time, Kenni helped take us further than many expected. Together, we won ESL Cup #3, qualified for Stake Pulse Beat I through the open qualifier, Went to the Grand Final for becoming the national team of Denmark and, perhaps most importantly, he managed to turn a group of players into a very strong and united team in an incredibly short amount of time. We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together and incredibly grateful for everything Kenni has brought to EAC. But sometimes esports is about more than holding on to your own ambitions. Kenni has a dream. An opportunity came along that could take him to the next level, and when that opportunity arrived, we knew we didn't want to be the organisation standing in his way. BBL have activated Kenni's buyout, and we have agreed to let him pursue his dream. 🇩🇰 -> 🇹🇷 It is never easy to say goodbye to someone you have only just started building something special with, but we believe this is the right decision for Kenni and for everyone involved. Kenni; thank you. Thank you for your work. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for believing in this project. And thank you for leaving EAC better than you found it.
