If you're ever in Ahmedabad, spend an evening by the Narmada Canal on the outskirts. It's beautiful and so much better than the riverfront. Just make sure you leave before it gets too dark as the area gets very spooky after dusk.

Due to the poor experience with TP-Link, which sent me a used product via Blinkit, I bought a Tenda Wi-Fi extender from Amazon. It is sooo much better and easier to set up!

So, I made the mistake of purchasing a Wi-Fi extender from @blinkitcares last night.
The prodict was a TP-Link TL-WA850RE. It did not work after repeated attempts at setting it up.
Expecting a quick refund, I contated Blinkit support who first asked me to contact TP-Link support and try fixing the issue. I did as told and contacted TP-Link support who gave me a shocker. This supposedly "new" product was already out of warranty and dates back to 2020!
I am now more curious how @letsblinkit sold me used 2020 product as new in 2026?
My learnings from this disaster:
1. Never buy electronics from quick commerce.
2. Stay away from TP-Link products.

Update: This has been resolved. Received a call from @blinkitcares and they have taken the product back and initiated a refund.

Both Blinkit and TP Link have washed their hands off this. In what can only be described as the modern-day version of passing the buck, Blinkit says the product they sold was delivered in sealed and perfect condition. (It was not).
@TPLINK_INDIA says the product
@letsblinkit sold to me does not have warranty and is from 2020.
Blinkit says they have nothing to do with this as this is a TP-Link issue.
End result: I ended up with e-waste worth Rs. 1500. I think I might just file my first ever consumer court case as this is clearly a case of fraud.

A multi-billion dollar corporation like @Meta cannot get basic account recovery prcesses right.
A friend's Instagram ID got locked. She did not have access to either her phone number or email addresses usied to sign up (stupid, but still not a crime). But Instagram gave her a third option. Ask two of her friends to confirm and verify her identity.
Did as told, but these friends never receive this so called notification.
Why even give an option that doesn't work??!
