Wer dauerhaft bleiben will, zahlt künftig 200.000 Yen Gebühr. #Takaichi #Japan #Migration apollo-news.net/gebhr-verzwa…

What happens to EU Inc? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Another dead story. Lots of great announcements without any follow through. As usual, it will take a decade to do anything in EU. @euinc_petition @vonderleyen @_FriedrichMerz

The EU missing deadlines, once again. That’s not even any news, rely. Did they ever get anything done swift and good? 😅 @EUCouncil @vonderleyen

The Netherlands is set to fill Europe's largest gas field up with concrete so it can never be accessed again. In a time where energy sovereignty becomes more important than ever, it is a mistake and the Dutch government is putting Europe's security at risk. End the closure!

That sums it up nicely
I started a startup in Germany 🇩🇪 in 2020. These are all the INSANE things I've encountered. I kid you not the first thing we got from the government was the equivalent of the IRS asking us to estimate our revenue for that year. We didn't even have a tax number at that point! We were bootstrapping. We are not opening up a fucking bakery. There is no revenue!! The second letter we got was an invoice from the IHK (Industrie- und Handelskammer). To this day I couldn't tell you what they do. They sent us their magazine every 3 months though which is nice I guess. The third letter was for the "Rundfunkgebühr", which is the TV license. I swear, all of this is true. There is a fundamental lack of ambition in Germany. You can succeed but not too much. Too much success is greed. Too much success is evil. The sad part is I don't even see a way out of this. I wish there would be something I could do about it. But there isn't. People would hate you for even trying (look at Elon). Every ambitious person that I know already left or is thinking about leaving. I live in NY now and the difference is insane. The US still attracts the best people. There is no doubt about that. The only thing we are leading now is regulation. It's hilarious to say but very sad at the same time. I don't know where this ends. All I can tell you is that there will be no one left to pay for all the great social services that exist today. Of course I will never start a business in Germany ever again. I'm half German. I lived in 🇩🇪 for 10 years. But jesus christ have we lost the plot.

Notary Mafia at its finest 😉 They found the magic money printer and will milk everyone enterprise. Nothing will change, the Mafia is strong.
Met a German founder this week and asked him if all the stories one reads about the challenges of startups in Germany are exaggerated. "No, they're understated." Proceeded to describe spending a full day having a 90-page investment contract read to him (mandatory under German law; § 13 BeurkG) by a notary that then charged €30,000. That was for his first company. His second company, needless to say, was not incorporated in Germany.

Probably live in Germany in the year 2100 😵‍💫
btw the legal hoops Waymo has to jump through just to launch in Germany are insane 🇩🇪 Germany is easily the hardest regulatory environment they’ve ever faced. > Waymo had to register to lobby the German government more than 4 years before announcing the service > run a 2-year campaign aimed specifically at changing Germany’s rules for commercial autonomous driving > spend €170k-180k on German lobbying in 2025 alone > submit a 12-page filing to Brussels arguing over how “safe” should be measured, down to whether one death per 10 million driving hours is the right approval benchmark > warn that Europe’s proposed 1,500-car annual cap per robotaxi model would make a fleet impossible to scale > now they still have to pass tests designed to prove the cars are safer than human-driven vehicles > face tests where regulators can deliberately trigger system failures, scramble the sensor inputs and take the cars outside the conditions they were built for just to prove they fail safely > hard-code Germany’s rules for an unavoidable crash: protect human life above property and never rank one person’s life above another based on personal traits > build a control room where the robot asks a human for permission when German traffic law leaves it unable to continue > program the robot to ignore that same human if the approved move is unsafe > hire a supervisor with an engineering qualification, special Waymo training, the right driving licence and at most 3 penalty points > begin every day by test-driving every car, inspect it again every 90 days and send it through a government inspection every 6 months > clear 3 separate approval systems: one for the robot itself, one for the exact streets it can use and one just to charge passengers > all this for a company with 20M+ completed trips and hundreds of thousands of commercial rides every week > the first Munich cars will still be driven manually to map the city > their paid driverless target: late 2027

Well done. Maybe EU can add some more compliance costs on top? That’s literally all they good for! 🥹
European Net Zero achieved three things: 1. Deindustrialization, lost jobs 2. Same products now come from Asia, but with much higher emissions 3. Without a strong industrial base, Europe can’t defend itself Why does Europe keep hurting itself and the climate so badly?

Yikes 😬
This is insane… Denmark’s Ministry of Finance released official data on the net fiscal contribution of immigrants from 36 different countries… 24/26 non-Muslim nations benefit taxpayers. All 10 Muslim nations cost Denmark money.

Wonder why? 🤔
🚨SHOCKING: All major OpenAI executives QUIT, leaving Sam Altman to steer the company, as revenue tops $40 BILLION. OpenAI’s Chief Revenue Officer just quit after only 8 months, while its COO also departed yesterday even as revenue surges ahead of a potential IPO. The company’s head of ethics, head of safety systems, and former head of mission alignment have ALL exited in recent weeks. At this point, there may be no major executive left to quit besides Sam Altman.

Unfassbar: Lars Klingbeil erklärt gerade, wer Steuer-Entlastungen fordere, der solle gefällig eine Gegenfinanzierung nennen! Ok...
