Spice Cayenne's design is based on 4 principles:
- Metadata is a SQL transaction. Data is an immutable file. Visibility is a pointer flip.
- Small writes land in tier-0; big writes become Vortex files.
- Deletes never rewrite data.
- Sequence numbers order everything.

25 years ago, I was in 7th grade. I’d never been to NYC. Someone rushed into math class, and the teacher turned on the news. I watched as the first tower, then the second, collapsed.
Now we live in lower Manhattan. Our kids can see One World Trade from the window.
We walk through the memorial. We tell them about how bad guys knocked the towers down. We tell them about the people who died, the policemen, the firefighters, the heroes. We tell them that heroes are the ones who make the choice to be good & brave, even when it’s hard.
We point to the new tower. We tell them that we built bigger and higher, because we won’t let the bad guys win.
We tell them so that even though they can’t remember, they will not forget.

$META I predict will imminently shutoff Anthropic and OpenAI model access for employees. This may very well affect the Anthropic and OpenAI IPOs.
Watermelon will be Fable class. This is 100% proof that Meta's experiment of having employees generate tens of thousands of RL envs works. There is no shortcut to doing this grunt work. (personally I think making RL envs is kinda fun)
Compute + Data + a ton of RL envs + some good people == Fable. There is no secret to frontier LLMs.
$META is obviously trying to drive down the price per token across the industry. I predict it will work.
