Section 4(1) of the Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act 2013 criminalizes the 'public display of an amorous relationship.'
This means that a man and a man holding hands, hugging, kissing, dancing romantically together, sitting on each other's laps, cuddling, or otherwise expressing romantic or sexual affection toward one another in public can attract a 10-year prison sentence under Section 5(2) of the same Act.
