The Giants offensive line was charged with 2 of the 4 sacks Jameis Winston had. Cam Skattebo was also charged with allowing one as well.
3 sacks allowed on 14 pressures allowed. It was the most pressures allowed in the 4 games played by the Giants OL.
Before Friday, it wasn’t certain Andrew Thomas would play due to the groin injury. Then on Friday, he was good to go. It wasn’t elite, but he brings stability to the line.
Jermaine Eluemunor was the best overall lineman on Sunday and gave the Giants a quality outing. He was the highest graded lineman overall for the Giants.
Francis Mauigoa allows a sack for the first time in his young career. Also allowed 5 pressures as well. A bit of a rough game, but he’s still learning.
With John Michael Schmitz not playing due to the birth of his baby, Bryan Hudson got the starting center duties and he was tremendous, as he didn’t allow a sack or a pressure. Hudson could potentially earn more playing time and maybe even the starting role too.
Overall, it wasn’t pretty, and at times, it looked rough. But John Harbaugh has said it before. It doesn’t always have to be pretty so long as you find a way to win in the end. The Giants OL is still finding its rhythm, especially with another quarterback playing under center that they didn’t initially anticipate and Arizona definitely gave them a fight the entire way. But the Giants left MetLife Stadium with the win, which was the most important thing.
