I’ve enjoyed working closely with Summer for the last 18 months. She was a remarkable public servant and is one heck of a leader for the industry. More importantly, she’s a good, good person. The type you want to walk alongside the halls of the Hill and agency offices. #Salute
I've spent the past year and a half leading the Blockchain Association through one of the most consequential periods in its history. I'm incredibly proud of what our team accomplished together, especially in navigating a challenging and rapidly evolving environment for the industry. Together, we saw the GENIUS Act become law, held more than 300 Congressional and agency meetings, and, for the first time, the industry will have clear rules of the road thanks to the work we’ve done with the SEC, CFTC, and this Administration. Those achievements belong to an extraordinary team, and I remain deeply grateful for their talent, commitment, and trust. I'm proud of the work we did together, and I'll be sharing more about what's next for me in the near future.

Seen some pretty lame FUD from some big names in private chats. DoubleZero is fully committed to @Solana. We provide free high speed connectivity to 60%+ of Solana stake and ~75% of validators use DoubleZero. We operate one of the most competitive raw shred services, at much lower cost, and pass pack 45% of that revenue to validators. And we’ve got so much more for Solana coming 🔥

I couldn’t agree more @gaborgurbacs. I write about it in my coming book “The New Adventures of CryptoDad” out soon: wiley.com/en-us/shop/general…
Removing or significantly reforming KYC, KYB, KYT, AML and related regulatory and commercial burdens could increase global commercial output 2-5x. Information collection is not only dangerous to end users but limit financial inclusion, impedes commerce and puts significant burdens and constraints across the financial, tech and governance stack. People underestimate how much damage compounded broken tools adds to the system.

Proud brother, as @AlextheXonX launches a novel ETF!
Tuttle Capital Management (TCM) @TuttleCapital, together with sub-adviser Strive Asset Management (SAM)@Strive @Strivefunds, today announced the launch of the T-Strive Digital Credit Preferred Income ETF (CBOE BZX: DCAP), an actively managed, structured credit ETF that seeks current income by investing in preferred securities issued by Bitcoin treasury companies. “Digital Credit is a young and developing market, and we've already seen meaningful periods of price dislocation that we believe reflect market inefficiencies," said Alex Xethalis, Head of Distribution at Strive Asset Management. "In normal markets, we expect DCAP to primarily own Digital Credit without leverage. But if substantial price declines create what we believe are attractive entry points, our institutional financing capabilities give DCAP the flexibility to deploy leverage opportunistically and buy into those dislocations. The goal is to generate excess returns over a simple buy-and-hold strategy by systematically taking advantage of those opportunities if they arise." And also of course big 🫂to @xethalis and @DonnaRedel Last year I didn’t get to go because I was in the hospital giving birth to baby #2. Excited to be back this year!

Totally not just because Trey is part of the OG Vandy crew. And can confirm his wife is skeptical.
I won a CryptoPunk for $225 and I still can't believe it. I'd been following FWA since v1 back in July. When v2 rolled out, I watched the ETH backing the first Punk dropping daily. By Saturday it was down to 1 ETH. The odds were getting very favorable, and the math said somebody was going to hit it soon. So I'm sitting on the couch thinking, why not. I spun 13 times, mostly reclaiming ETH or stacking $FWA. Down to the last 0.1 ETH that I put in the wallet for the day, I spun once more for 0.0855 ETH. CryptoPunk #3498 pops out. Dark mohawk, horned rim glasses. One of about 8 with that exact combo out of all 10,000. (And apparently this was a 1 in 10k chance at the time!) Pure dumb luck. But luck shined on me that day, and I'm grateful. Thank you @Rhynotic and @token_works. Legends! My shiny new Punk going in the vault. I'm not selling. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but Punks are going to rip. Long-term believer.

This was a great conversation. Take a listen to get my latest thoughts on the market.
Michael Saylor sold Bitcoin this summer. The Clarity Act got delayed. Now look at the price of bitcoin:native That's the exact signal Multicoin's @tushar_jain uses to call a bottom, and he just told us we're in one right now. Guys, this is the tell nobody else is watching. Full video in the comments 👇

It was an honor to close @CoinDesk Policy and Regulation yesterday with a fireside interview of @SenLummis. She has been the spark that drove so much progress for digital assets on the Hill and across the country. A true 1 of 1 with integrity, drive and heart.

SWC needs to put the CLARITY votes in context for Tillis, Alsobrooks and Gillibrand, in particular. Gillibrand is a champion of sensible regulation. Alsobrooks and Tillis weighed in trying to fix the toughest issues. Tillis’ vote is not a real no. All three are champions of good policy. All three should be A graded.
This right here not being fixed after years of these weak inferences are representative of my biggest problem with @standwithcrypto. There is zero appreciation for the nuance of any single voting situation. Maybe ask yourself first of all, why might a Senator who has worked on advancing a piece of legislation take this particular position on a vote like a cloture motion? Calling Senators who voted against cloture "anti crypto" is weak, and serves absolutely no one looking to learn critically.

Back on the ground in DC. The work doesn’t stop. Look forward to @CoinDesk Policy conference tomorrow where I’ll be sitting with @SenLummis for a fireside, talking tax with @jasonsomensatto and Sean McElroy, and leading @Sternams into battle with three other lobbyists. #WAGMI

Tomorrow will be the first major post-CLARITY policy and regulatory gathering in Washington. It’s time for some tough but necessary discussions: a candid assessment of where CLARITY stands, what comes next for market structure, and plenty more. I spoke at @CoinDesk Policy & Regulation last year, and I’m glad to be part of it again. It’s quickly becoming a great tradition for the policy community, and @BlockchainAssn values our years-long partnership with the @CoinDesk team. I’ll be there with @SummerMersinger and @lindsayfraser0, alongside many friends and colleagues from across our membership.
