Meet Hakyung Jun, 2026 @BarrowNeuro Summer Intern from Kona, Hawaii. The ALS Network’s support of young researchers emphasizes hands-on engagement in students like Hakyung. Working with the Institute’s Ping Wang, PhD, Hakyung centered her research around two MRI imaging techniques to calculate the error between the scans of the diffusion and fat phantoms, which was used to verify the reliability of MRI measurements.
