This week I have received: - 14 fake recruiting texts - another "pay your toll bill" phishing text - countless obvious attempted phishing emails - a call from "alex at american express" from a Florida area code, the same area that Amex's CS is based in (I called Amex instead of Alex) - two "legal documents to be served about a matter" calls which my attorney responded to and found they were a scam I've had the same phone # for 20 years and I may have to change it just so I can use my phone. I'm in the business operations as a business, business so I can generally sniff this stuff. But how exactly are people with less reps supposed to live? Most people would have taken that Amex bait. He was good.
