It is very easy these days to participate in research. I spend my days putting planetary science papers but I found the time to play around with Opus 5.5 and Chatgpt Pro to put together a proposal for a combined Sha 2 and a randomly chained hash from a large hash family potentially providing a moving target and with caveats a large space to preempt a preparatory attack. It would help to have NIST provide a trusted source of randomness with quantum sources. I will write an article and put it somewhere. There are certainly many caveats but it seems to me that from a practical point of view it is very difficult to attack. I am still thinking about the rough edges but I will put out something soon
