i've said this for a long time, as a part of my practice in detachment: ossification of memory is the enemy of personal progress.
i've seen a lot of musings about the past and nostalgia on socials today, and have had a bunch of conversations with my wife and some artists in past couple days.
nothing is permanent. everything is waiting to become a memory. and even those memories are fluid interpretations of the past. and that fluidity can make nostalgia more meaningful in new contexts.

When @MathieuFrance /@Artcrush proposed a couple Isles in exchange for an exhibition all over France, I said yes.
I minted them and they randomly got this wonder, inspired by Meobius, with the maximalist "I Can't Let Go" vibe. 3 Boats in the background, a Synthetic Soul, a Singularity as a Psychopomp and a final exhale for the soundtrack, that's quite the amazing one.

optimally, i'd love to see all the infighting cease, and have different projects/networks explore boundaries together.
if you want to explore the exponential, you can't get caught in the binary; we're all looking for the best way out of the box.
All the discussion about shielded bitcoin is awesome.
True Privacy should be normal. But trying to explain that to a hardcore bitcoiner just result in "don't shill me shitcoins!" resentment.
This paper opens up the discussion so that even them can start looking deeper into the topic without "loosing the path of pure bitcoin". And many will understand the importance and benefits of privacy in the way.
Now I do believe that this shielded bitcoin approach will not be ready for production anytime soon. And bitcoin won't adopt it. And it's technology wise inferior to zcash.
But I truly celebrate any step toward wider adoption of true privacy.

UX can be complicated for most users using a new thing. I've always been a fan of live tutorials in apps for this reason.
Understanding receipts, viewing keys and what these mean for ownership on @Zcash is already a new thing for everyone just coming in. So I'm building some educational UI around it.
I'll also be making a video about how to "cut rings" on @Zcash soon, using zec-os as an example. (Hoping this vernacular sticks 😅)
