Everything you need to know about ACP-285, coming in @avax's Helicon upgrade 🔺 ACP-285 lowers the staking reward floor from 10% → 7.5% while keeping the maximum reward unchanged. A 14-day stake drops from 5.36% to 4.08%, while a 365-day stake continues earning 6.38% making long-term staking even more rewarding. The impact: lower AVAX issuance, a reward budget that lasts longer, and stronger incentives for long-term validators. Rolling out over 90 days alongside ACP-273 & ACP-236, Helicon balances flexible short-term staking with meaningful rewards for long-term commitment.
