Avalanche Summit NYC was our most impactful Summit yet. Thank you to everyone who spoke, built, attended, reported, and made it so incredible!

Hyundai is testing blockchain infrastructure to accelerate development and improve payment processing time. Hyundai Card’s stablecoin pilot on Avalanche saw transfer time reduced by over 96%. Now the company is exploring how these faster transfers, even after banking hours, can reduce idle liquidity and make their working capital go further. American Banker reports on the pilot.

Six D1 college athletics teams are using Avalanche technology to improve their fan experience and loyalty. Michigan, Nevada, Baylor, and Memphis recently joined Penn State and LSU in choosing Uptop to strengthen the connection between their athletic programs and fans. Uptop’s platform, powered by Avalanche, gives better fan data, more efficient rewards, stronger sponsorship opportunities and a foundation for payments going forward. Avalanche is home for sports rewards, and the roster is growing.

Helicon Is Now Live on Avalanche Mainnet 🔺 Avalanche’s Helicon upgrade is now active on mainnet, changing how the C-Chain executes transactions and how validators stake AVAX. Blog by @phfoong below 👇

Every Avalanche upgrade starts with the same goal: improving how the network performs, scales, and supports validators. Helicon is now live on Avalanche Mainnet, bringing continuous execution to the C-Chain alongside major changes to staking and validator economics. Why this matters: • Run consensus and execution in parallel with continuous execution, allowing the C-chain to process more work without waiting between stages. • Use Auto-Renewed Staking to keep validating across cycles without manually re-staking at every period boundary. • Stake for a minimum of 48 hours, down from the previous 336-hour minimum. • Meet a 90% uptime requirement to receive validation rewards, up from the previous 80% threshold. • Use a dynamic minimum gas price instead of relying on a fixed floor. • Benefit from a staking reward curve gradually moving from 10% to 7.5% over 90 days, while keeping the one-year rate unchanged. Impact: Helicon improves C-Chain execution and validator participation. Consensus and execution now run in parallel, while staking becomes more flexible with shorter commitments and auto-renewal. Helicon is now live on Avalanche Mainnet, strengthening the foundation for future network growth.
