History repeats itself
Confirmed: Nigel Farage has been interviewed by standards commissioner for investigation into whether he should have declared £5m gift from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne.
Reform UK leader spent about 30 mins being questioned over the money, as @lara_spirit first reported. Farage maintains gift was for personal security.
The interview conducted last month is a sign the process is nearing aconclusion, although Reform UK is not believed to have been informed that report is finished. (An MP under investigation is usually notified before conclusion of process).
