So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” Revelation 5:4-5

I suppose we should not be surprised that people who causally lie about genocide would turn October 7 into a moment of mourning for the perpetrators, but it is still shocking.

The statement by NY Mayor Mandami is an outrageous & disgusting rant & made on a day that ought to honor the over 1200 civilians butchered by Hamas including 46 Americans.  His comments are as insensitive & insulting as saying on the 9-11 Anniversary that “While we mourn the loss of those murdered by terrorists we condemn the response of the United States equally .”  There is NO genocide in Gaza.  The death toll there is due to Hamas having continued to hold hostages (including Americans) and starving, raping, torturing and killing them. An apology for his obtuse and utterly ignorant remarks are not enough.  God help the people of New York for electing a a jihadist sympathizer!

1) October 7 was not “war crimes.” It was a terrorist massacre. 2) His portion blaming Israel & repeating the debunked and disgraceful “genocide” lie is longer than the woefully inadequate box-checking first paragraph. 3) He pretends to be fighting the scourge of antisemitism in NYC & feigns puzzlement that many people don’t believe him.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Correct: an example of the media acting dumb on purpose.
These headlines are a disgrace and another example of why nobody trusts the media. If you watch the full clip, it's clear what he is saying is that high oil prices are a small price to pay for stopping Iran from getting a nuke that would allow them to take out US cities.

Three years ago, the morning of October 7 changed our lives forever. The brutal and murderous attack against Israel, our sovereign state, left so many astonished, heartbroken, and deeply shaken. Three years later, the pain is still with us. We remember the lives that were taken, the families forever changed, and all those who have carried the weight of that day ever since. This song is our prayer, a prayer for healing, for comfort, and for peace. A reminder that even in our darkest moments, we are not alone.

Still vividly remember this video of the Hamas fighter beheading a random Thai farm worker and celebrating. Also remember people then denying this atrocity, even as it was filmed and proudly broadcast by the Hamas militants themselves.
Just saw the full video of the 2 Hamas fighters arguing over who gets to kill the Thai worker they had shot followed by one of them decapitating him. It’s worse than you imagine. They filmed it themselves. They wanted the world to know this is who they are.

Three years after the horrors of October 7, 2023, the nation of Israel is still in shock and trauma. Is there any antidote to the poison? Any balm that can bring healing? In His grace, God has given three Sukkot miracles, one each year since the attack, that have enabled us to rejoice at the Feast again. -Antidote #1: Poetic justice and a sigh of relief in Sukkot 2024 -Antidote #2: All the hostages were released in Sukkot 2025 -Antidote #3: Another 9/11 miraculously averted in Sukkot 2026 And the ultimate antidote: Peace between Abraham’s sons, dwelling together in unity. The good news is that it is happening. God can transform hearts full of hatred to abound with love. He has the power to heal the deep wounds and trauma in the Middle East, bringing peace and joy instead. It is the healing balm. It is the precious oil of blessing. My beef with Abdul: He says he’s a doctor. He’s not. He’s unlicensed. He’s for abolishing the police. He deleted the tweet, but CNN found it. His staff denied he’s a dual citizen w Egypt. Video shows Abdul saying he’s a dual citizen and he summered in Egypt. He refuses to condemn the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran. He blames terrorism on America’s policies. He calls Israel bloodthirsty. Who uses that language? He says he hasn’t taken a penny of corporate contributions, but his FEC report shows he received $1.9 million in contributions from 629 corporate executives, including from Nvidia, Google and Pfizer. Abdul is a conman.

It’s like 1936 all over again. They just changed the word on the sign. Back then it was “No Jews allowed.” Now it’s “We don’t serve Zionists.” Back then they pasted family photos on the street. Now it’s “Jewish Zionists of Toronto,” faces on a sandwich board outside a café. Back then a man was stabbed walking home from shul. Now it’s a stabbing near Central Park or in Golders Green, or a museum in Washington, and the news barely mentions it. The same hatred. The same cries for our death. The same lie that it’s only a loud minority, and that most people are good. They promised never again. Less than a hundred years later the signs are already up. They just swapped one word and hoped nobody would notice.

In 2025, 47% of all govt spending was welfare, 8% was warfare. The country is going bankrupt because politicans and bureaucrats buy votes...
The government spends far more on entitlements than defense:

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists tortured, mutilated, and murdered 1,200 innocent civilians in Israel. Among those slain were men, women, and children — including dozens of Americans. We will never forget this act of barbarism against an ally and recommit ourselves to the defense of civilization.
