The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame mourns the passing of 2015 Inductee Bobby Hunt. Hunt played quarterback and defensive back at Auburn University. He was drafted by the Dallas Texans in the 11th round of the 1962 AFL Draft.

The Museum will be closed on July 2 and July 3 to celebrate Independence Day. We will reopen July 6.

In 1964, he led all relief pitchers with an ERA of 1.38. Worthington helped lead the Twins to the American League pennant in 1965. He led the American League in saves in 1968 with 18 saves. In 1986, Worthington was selected to the Twins All-Time Team.

He helped lead the Crimson Tide to the 1950 SEC Championship and a College World Series berth. Worthington played 14 seasons in the MLB with the New York and San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, and Minnesota Twins.

The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame mourns the passing of 2011 Inductee Al Worthington. Worthington played baseball at the University of Alabama where he finished his pitching career with a 14-3 record.

Moore played 14 seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers and one season with the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2014, he was named to the All-Time Alabama Baseball Team and the Milwaukee Brewers Wall of Honor. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame mourns the passing of 2025 Inductee Charlie "Butch" Moore. Moore was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers out of Minor High School in the fifth round of the 1971 MLB Draft. He made his debut with the Brewers on September 8, 1973.
