You notice anything? Look at what separates the two groups. It isn't technology. It isn't complexity. It's one variable: how much the state is involved. At the top, sectors that are subsidized, regulated, shielded from competition, where the state funds demand and blocks supply. At the bottom, sectors where companies fight every single morning to serve you better and cheaper.
And inflation doesn’t melt everything at the same speed. Since 2000, a TV has become 98% cheaper. Childcare costs 159% more, a university degree 197% more. Wages rose 131%. Your TV got cheaper. Your kids didn’t. Chart 3: US price changes of selected goods and services vs. wages, 2000–2025

I hate qualifying arguments like this, but - everyone knows I am about as pro-Ukraine/anti-Russian as it gets. That regularly leads to friction between me and other Republicans, even ones who otherwise align 99%. With that said, whining from Europeans and the American left about America buying $1B in diesel fuel from Russia is so out of touch with reality. The EU has spent over $200B on Russian fuel and is on-track to buy hundreds of billions more. Most of that was purchased by wealthy EU members who can absolutely afford alternatives. x.com/PalmerLuckey/status/20…
More than a "mistake". Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder killed nuclear, approved Nord Stream, then left to be chairman of Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft three weeks later. The Ukraine war is effectively a proxy war with Germany, which has sent far more money to Russia than Ukraine.

Abdul El-Sayed told a reporter yesterday that scrutiny of him is “the same thing that they did to JFK when he ran for president… the notion that because he was Catholic, that somehow he had dual loyalty.” I have written about JFK. That claim is a grotesque perversion of history. In 1960, no Catholic had ever been elected president. Al Smith’s 1928 landslide loss was driven in large part by Protestant fears—rooted in centuries of Reformation conflict and reinforced by nativist suspicion—that a Catholic president would answer to the Vatican rather than the Constitution. JFK met it head-on in Houston in 1960, pledging absolute separation of church and state, and the charge collapsed because there was nothing under it. That is not what is happening with El-Sayed. Being Muslim is not the disqualifier. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, serves as Minnesota’s attorney general. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib serve in the House. Zohran Mamdani is mayor of New York City. CAIR’s own 2026 directory counts roughly 255 Muslim elected officials nationwide, including four in the House and dozens in state legislatures. Voters have repeatedly elected Muslims to state and federal office without treating their faith as disqualifying. The issue is not prayer; it is politics, associations, and family ties to an ideology that rejects the secular liberal order El-Sayed claims to defend. El-Sayed flatly denied on Meet the Press any family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which the U.S. listed this year as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity for material support to Hamas. His half-sister, University of Chicago professor Eman Abdelhadi, has posted otherwise. In 2012 she wrote: “My family has long been MB,” though she added that it “navigated the political sphere poorly/destructively.” In 2013 she wrote that she had “family jailed for being a part of it.” She also wrote of her mother’s early-1970s Brotherhood activism in college. Their mother, Fatten Elkomy, later worked for the U.S. arm of a charity network Treasury designated in 2004 for supporting al-Qaeda; she was never charged. El-Sayed calls the posts “hearsay” and distances himself from his mother by saying he wasn’t raised by her. But his flat denial and his sister’s own words can’t both be right. There is more. El-Sayed confirmed on camera that his sister-in-law was on the federal terror watchlist. She sued, a district court ruled in her favor, and an appeals court reversed. The FBI won’t say where she stands now. No one accuses him of any role. His father-in-law is a longtime board member of the Islamic Society of North America. None of these questions are about how he prays; they are questions about reported links to an organization whose Egyptian branch the United States has now formally labeled for supporting terrorism. After a man rammed a vehicle into Temple Israel synagogue near Detroit in an attack authorities treated as targeted at Jews, El-Sayed’s response included the line “hurt people hurt people.” He later apologized under pressure from Jewish Democrats, saying he should not have offered “context” that trampled on the victims’ pain. That is not the language of someone simply defending religious freedom. He has also campaigned repeatedly with Hasan Piker, who in 2019 said “America deserved 9/11.” El-Sayed later called the remark “dumb” and said America did not deserve the attacks, but the association remains. Voters are entitled to notice who a candidate chooses to platform. JFK faced prejudice against his faith. El-Sayed faces reporting on his family’s documented embrace of a group now designated by the U.S. government for supporting Hamas, his own comments after an attack on a synagogue, and his political alliances. Equating the two is not a defense of religious liberty. It is an attempt to weaponize a real historical injustice in order to shut down legitimate questions about radicalism and national security. The Constitution protects the free exercise of religion. It does not require voters or journalists to pretend that family ties to a designated terrorist organization, or responses to domestic terrorism, are off-limits simply because the candidate is Muslim. History is not a prop for that evasion.

My cousin JD just got asked point-blank by a father whose little kids survived a terrorist attack at Temple Israel if he would confront the antisemitism coming from his own side specifically Tucker Carlson. What did he do? He gave the smooth “I condemn antisemitism, I condemn Jew-hatred” answer and then stopped. He would not name the man. He would not draw the line. I will say” / “Here’s what I’ll say” And here is what I say cousin: I have spent 27 years lifting up the real history of Owsley and Breathitt of Kentucky so our people would not be called dumb trailer-trash hillbillies. You took that same bloodline, put it in a book, let Hollywood mock it, and then walked away from the values our people actually stand on. Gee thanks J.D. stereotyped the very people I have spent decades on accentuating the rich history of. At heart you are just like Tucker Carlson. That is not leadership. That is not ready. And that is why I will never support you for higher office. Family does not mean silence. Genesis 12:3 still stands. I will not apologize for standing with Israel or against the hate you refuse to name. 🇺🇸🇮🇱 x.com/CBSNews/status/2111625…

You don’t be alone in sitting out the Presidential line if that anti-Conservative is our nominee.
⭕️ I have voted Republican my entire life. I have NEVER voted for a Democrat, and I voted for Donald Trump three times. But let me be absolutely clear: If JD Vance is the Republican nominee in 2028, I will NOT vote for him. Period. I cannot bring myself to vote for the Democratic Party either, so I will sit that election out. And I strongly suspect I won't be alone. Many Jewish and Zionist voters who supported Trump and the GOP may face the same decision. After October 7, the safety of Jews, the fight against antisemitism, and support for Israel are not negotiable issues for me. My loyalty to the Republican Party has its limits. My loyalty to the Jewish people does not. The GOP should never assume that decades of loyalty guarantee a vote in 2028 if Vance is the nominee.

Macron blames France’s economic problems on the Iran war. But after nearly a decade in power: Government debt soared from 97% to 116% of GDP. Budget deficit doubled from 2.6% to 5.1% Growth has been anemic throughout his nine years, slowing to 0.8% in 2025. Poverty increased by 1.25 million people. All before the Iran war. Macron can’t escape his own record.

We will all soon know what it feels like to be Jewish. In France, they already do. It will be our just deserts for having abandoned the Jews, ignored their warnings, turned against them, and even marched alongside their oppressors. For three years, you useful idiots have been parading Palestinian flags, sporting keffiyehs, screaming “From the River to the Sea”, and recognizing a fictitious Palestinian state as a reward for Hamas’s October 7 massacre (looking at you, @EmmanuelMacron). You have boycotted the only Jewish state in the world, vilified the Jewish people’s right to self-determination (aka “Zionism”), and spread the “Gaza genocide” blood libel. Did you really think that if you fed the crocodile enough Jewish flesh, it would eventually be satiated? All you have done is embolden the monster and whet its appetite. So you were worried about “colonization”? Look around. The only thing being colonized here are our own Western cities. The Palestinian flag has become a victory banner, proudly waved amid the ruins of looted and vandalized historic buildings—a symbol of hatred for our civilization and everything it stands for. It never ends with the Jews.

To my Jewish friends...I know things seem dark right now for so many. That many of you have been targets of hate from the world's most vile and pathetic. But know this-you are not alone. Decent people around the world stand with you. You don't always hear it-because the voices of the haters are amplified by our media-but we're there and the majority. Am Yisrael Chai my friends. This American atheist stands with Israel and with the Jews. You are not alone.

🚨Trump gives his full-throated endorsement of Benjamin Netanyahu for reelection. He needs a partner like Bibi to dramatically expand the Abraham Accords. I expected this.
To the Great People of Israel: Bibi Netanyahu has been a great wartime Prime Minister, and an even greater partner for peace in the fight against the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its 51-year-old slogan: “Death to Israel, Death to America! We will destroy the Little Satan and the Great Satan.” What country can survive when such things are allowed to be said, because eventually, they always come true? It was only a matter of time before Iran carried out this threatening declaration, but they have been systematically destroyed, both militarily and economically, and if they do not change their ways quickly, we will soon finish the job. If Israel has the wrong leader, meaning anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this job itself, and I am not inclined to do that. Bibi Netanyahu has been strong, courageous, and brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition, including opposition that came from within Israel itself. Despite all of this, he persevered and, in fact, even thrived! I watched Bibi during the most difficult times. Ordinary men or women in such situations would have collapsed under the pressure — but Bibi did not collapse. In fact, he became even stronger, and he maintains that same strength today. This is the kind of partner that the United States of America demands from Israel, a country for which it has done so much. Please consider this letter my full and complete endorsement of Bibi Netanyahu as he prepares to run for another term as Prime Minister of Israel in the upcoming election. Bibi Netanyahu will never let you down! Thank you for your attention to this matter. **Donald J. Trump** **President of the United States of America**
