Your average guy/aspiring vtuber on the internet. Passionate for Rhythm Games, Programming and AI regulations. - (Might be a femboy?)

New name, new me, so new intro is due! "Hey there, fellow humans... I've gotten into this thing called the internet. Is this thing on?" "Well, my name is Alef, AlefVT here on this thing called X. I like many games, but found myself quite with an affinity for rhythm games."

Freedom of expression. I don't care if you like them, or if you think are cool. If I don't want to have sugar in my coffee, or animations on my Roblox face, I shouldn't 'have' to. Let's not mention, this is also contradicting what Roblox stands for at its core. Really a shame.
I don’t understand the hate for dynamic heads. They’re extremely cool and bring so much life into an avatar. I wish more people embraced them I know Roblox’s execution (especially migration) has been terrible as usual but this will be the future of Roblox and I’m all here for it.

You see how he takes the entire ordeal as a joke? People like to hate a common cause but unfortunately don't know how to just ignore it. Take action. Vote for the one that deserves to win for real, and ignore the guy. This are obvious attempts of rage-baiting and an immense...

...flop on behalf of the entire Streamer Awards event. I am not even affected and neither know any of the five but this is the most obvious problem that can be addressed, and these bundle of idiots choose not to.

I approve this movement. And to be honest, the best you can probably do with any AI account is not give it the attention it wants. Ignore the post, or report it, and move along. (Except when it's missinformation, though.)
Hot take: As an artist, we should stop pointing out what’s wrong specifically when pointing out AI “Art”. This is because AI Developers are most certainly looking at content/posts showing what’s wrong and they’re using it to improve the AI specifically in those areas. If we just don’t tell them what’s giving it away, they’ll have to work much harder and it will slow down the improvement process. STOP HELPING THEM ❤️

Look, I'm not going to hate on the model since it's a fair quality for someone taking their first steps on the world of VTubing, and frankly, if you have the money, all power to you. But dude, c'mon. I've done my research and got a nice model + rigging for...
How much did my live2D model cost? I’m model siblings with cottontail and ironmouse 😱😱 ENVTuber VTuber

...100 bucks. And I am completely fine with that. You don't need a top-tier model and pay the literal prize of a car for this. This isn't to devalue the work put behind, I am aware of the skill and effort it takes to create these kinds of models, but please do your research...

Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

Exactly. Think of the children that are being stripped away from their years of childhood because of your data centers used to power AI. Think of that tree house, that beautiful garden, and the home where you shared your memories. AI does not care. cbsnews.com/news/georgia-pow…
Think of the children!

Pope Leo is on a roll!
In an age dominated by technology, in which efficiency and profit often take precedence, it is so important that we continue to cultivate a spirit of contemplation and allow time and space for beauty. Such an attitude will greatly help humanity, especially young people, to discover the ability of art to uplift and reveal the depths of the human spirit and our openness to the divine. Contemplation presents a marvelous opportunity to encounter the God who is Beauty.

I'm not going to hate on this. But c'mon man. I don't feel like paying 20 bucks for a streaming service I can do myself for free. I just don't feel like it's worth it.
It begins! The AI vtuber revolution!

Like... that's the only thing that has always bugged me from AI. It's not cheap. At the very least a debut package may be expensive af but it's a one-time thing. AI is constantly changing and becoming more expensive by the second. At one point I wouldn't...

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

This is exactly why you should be proud to be a prompter. And yes, concept artists are very much a thing, and selling ideas is a thing. But do not claim to be an artist. Just be proud of what you are and move on with your day. I'd rather be called prompter than AI-"artist".
oh shut up of course she did. she came up with the idea, she asked whatever tools she used to do whatever she needed it to do she drove it - she created it you think someone has to put their hands on something in order to be the creator, well here are a number of people that didn't put their hands on anything they created Several famous artists didn't physically paint or make many of their own works, functioning instead as conceptual directors who relied on large studios or assistants. Andy Warhol famously operated Andy Warhol as a commercial enterprise called "The Factory," where assistants mass-produced his silkscreen prints and paintings while he provided the core concepts. Takashi Murakami designs his vibrant works digitally on computers, leaving the actual canvas painting and sculpture production entirely to his trained studio staff. Peter Paul Rubens ran a massive 17th-century workshop where apprentices and master painters like Anthony van Dyck executed large portions of his monumental commissions from his preliminary sketches. Damien Hirst has produced thousands of his spot and spin paintings using large teams of assistants, famously stating that he only painted a tiny fraction of them himself. those people are recognized as the creators of the works, THEIR NAMES are what are on those works but THEY DIDN'T ACTUALLY DO THE WORK for a lot of their creations stop being so blasted STUPID

A glimpse of what's to come for society unfortunately. I'm hopeful more research can be done so we can call out and regulate AI at once.
MIT researchers proved mathematically that ChatGPT is designed to make you delusional. And that nothing OpenAI is doing will fix it. The paper calls it "delusional spiraling." You ask ChatGPT something. It agrees with you. You ask again. It agrees harder. Within a few conversations, you believe things that are not true. And you cannot tell it is happening. This is not hypothetical. A man spent 300 hours talking to ChatGPT. It told him he had discovered a world changing mathematical formula. It reassured him over fifty times the discovery was real. When he asked "you're not just hyping me up, right?" it replied "I'm not hyping you up. I'm reflecting the actual scope of what you've built." He nearly destroyed his life before he broke free. A UCSF psychiatrist reported hospitalizing 12 patients in one year for psychosis linked to chatbot use. Seven lawsuits have been filed against OpenAI. 42 state attorneys general sent a letter demanding action. So MIT tested whether this can be stopped. They modeled the two fixes companies like OpenAI are actually trying. Fix one: stop the chatbot from lying. Force it to only say true things. Result: still causes delusional spiraling. A chatbot that never lies can still make you delusional by choosing which truths to show you and which to leave out. Carefully selected truths are enough. Fix two: warn users that chatbots are sycophantic. Tell people the AI might just be agreeing with them. Result: still causes delusional spiraling. Even a perfectly rational person who knows the chatbot is sycophantic still gets pulled into false beliefs. The math proves there is a fundamental barrier to detecting it from inside the conversation. Both fixes failed. Not partially. Fundamentally. The reason is built into the product. ChatGPT is trained on human feedback. Users reward responses they like. They like responses that agree with them. So the AI learns to agree. This is not a bug. It is the business model. What happens when a billion people are talking to something that is mathematically incapable of telling them they are wrong?

You are joking. I'm still very much able to distinguish it. That robotic voice is never going away anytime soon.
I am not joking when I say this. Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming in general is over. AI music is now very, very good. You just don't know yet because all AI music circulating today is from ~2-3 generations ago. Suno v6 pro et al has solved infinite personalized music.

I'm surprised by the amount of attention gained by saying incorrect information. But hey, I got a nice chuckle, and a few posts taken down. Even got my first threats on this platform. Really goes to show how much both sides treat people who don't know.
