The attacks on Israel on October 7 were abhorrent, but the war on Hamas has killed far too many innocent people. I called Congresswoman Gwen Moore's office a few days ago and joined so many Milwaukeeans in calling for a ceasefire. I hope you will do the same.
The death toll in Gaza has now exceeded 10,000 people, nearly half of which are children, and tens of thousands have been injured.
Hospitals have been bombed, meaning many of those injured lack access to care.
This must end.
