In this video, multiple ICE agents are seen violently tackling a man to the ground… while another agent points a taser at bystanders, who are standing so far away, they aren’t even visible. As the man is being pinned down, his brother repeatedly yells that he is a veteran, and legally in the United States. An ICE agent then pulls up and begins ordering the brother to “stay out of it.” The brother continues shouting that the man being detained is a veteran, and legal. And the agent’s response? “I don’t care.” ICE’s entire purpose is, supposedly, to enforce immigration law. Their entire job is determining who is not legally allowed to be in this country. So, if an agent’s response to learning the person they’re arresting is a veteran… and here legally… is, “I don’t care.” Then what exactly are ICE agents actually enforcing?
