President Zelenskyy’s letter to Putin is part trolling but also wraps around a proposal to end the war based on a ceasefire in place and security for Ukraine (& Russia). (The painting is a famous portrayal of Ukrainian Cossacks writing a mocking letter to the Turkish Sultan.)

Hahah! I was just thinking of the Repin painting. The Cossacks wrote the letter after they won a battle but the Sultan insisted on their surrender.

And a message to Trump that Ukraine won't be pushed around, and to Ukrainians about growing confidence and strength in the air, and on the land.

⚡️Zelenskyy Sets Surrender Terms. Let’s compare trolls… President Zelenskyy offers Russians deal: Surrender Putler to The Hague. Or, my forces continue killing 30,000 invaders every month.

Trolling as you say, will come at a cost. Something tells me that it won't be Z who will be laughing.

Ukraine could have chosen the West long ago. Instead, it chose the Pereyaslav Agreement rather than following the spirit of and fulfilling the Treaty of Hadiach. Today, it is paying a high price for those mistakes, yet it still does not fully understand them.
