Sometimes, in game dev, the small things can have a big impact. Working on input controls, planning controller support, and I decided I'd change the cursor icon in my game. Even as something as simple as an icon can change the feel of a game.

This icon is perfect for what you're making! I love custom icons in games that fit the aesthetic. I did a very similar icon in Bloodrust: it is one of the "ferric nails" from in-universe. I may have to make it bigger of course, but the feeling of something that matches the whole vibe of the game is endlessly cool in any game!

Thats cool! Yeah it makes it feel all the more cohesive imo. It becomes a part of the game and story this way. I feel like its something I saw a lot more on older games so im glad other devs are keeping it alive! Yeah, for my game, making it the nib of a quill made sense, since you are constantly keeping a log written in ink.

Even as something as simple as an icon, huh? Actually, I'd have to agree with that!
