A kid in middle school got singled out and pressured to defend his family's politics in front of his classmates because some activist with a teaching certificate could not stand that he thinks differently. Florida's attorney general is already calling for her termination, and that is exactly the right move. Schools are supposed to teach kids how to think, not hunt them down for what their parents believe. No eighth grader should have to survive a political loyalty test to get through history class. If you cannot handle a conservative student without trying to humiliate him, you do not belong in a classroom. Fire her and make an example so the next one thinks twice.
