To my military family, fellow Veterans, supporters, and everyone who has followed me — I know I’ve been quiet for the past month, and some of you may have wondered where I’ve been. The truth is, I’ve been dealing with a lot behind the scenes and trying to navigate one of the most difficult periods of my life. After a serious family health crisis where I spent much of my time supporting a loved one, delays in my VA disability claim, losing my employment and my vehicle, I found myself facing challenges I never expected. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own and have always believed in supporting my fellow Veterans and those around me. Today, I’m reaching out because I need support myself. I’ve started a fundraiser to help me stay stable, overcome these setbacks, and take the steps needed to get back on my feet.
