Seriously, Hon’ble CM
@mkstalin avl? There was absolutely ZERO social justice or inclusivity at
#GlobalStartupSummit2025.
Foreign stalls, chaos, no space for TN startups, poor facilities & zero support for women/rural/SC-ST founders.
Tamil pride in words, not in action!
Here’s what really happened 👇
🔹 Foreign over Indian:
Prime stalls were given to foreign countries & companies.
No booths, no pitch space, not even a mention for Made in India or Made in Tamil Nadu innovators.
🔹 Access denied:
Many Indian CEOs & delegates couldn’t attend the CM’s inaugural address.
Organizers kept shouting “Any foreign guests?” while Indian entrepreneurs were left outside.
🔹 Poor facilities:
No water, no Wi-Fi, no dustbins, no proper entry/exit.
Exhibitors paid ₹20,000 and above + GST for tiny stalls with zero basic amenities. no Water, no WiFi, no dust bins, no proper dining or resting space, tables filled with trash, etc.
🔹 Exploitative pricing:
Delegate passes were first ₹2000 → ₹3500 → ₹5000, then sold for ₹1000 through influencers.
No fee relief or assistance for women, SC/ST, or rural startups.
🔹 Disorganized & unsafe:
Stalls literally collapsed during dismantling; garbage everywhere.
Thankfully, no one was hurt — but foreign guests witnessed the mess.
🔹 Crowd over content:
Tens of thousands of students were pushed through the halls, turning the summit into a crowd-management exercise.
Real entrepreneurs couldn’t network or even showcase their products.

@StartupTN @CMOTamilnadu — our entrepreneurs deserve respect, visibility, and real opportunities, not slogans and photo-ops.
