"When you weaponize the DOJ against political opponents, it's a threat to democracy. When we do it, it's a virtue!" - Elisa Slotkin perfectly lays out the Democrats' platform.
Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage. America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.

No. This is just a feminized blabber mouth playing the female victimization card. Ridiculous.
Democrat Sen. Elissa Slotkin claims she's being attacked for threatening lawfare against young conservatives because she’s a woman: “There’s something about being a woman and criticizing them that really gets under their skin.”

ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics. @ElissaSlotkin

Listen, sweetheart. You’re not the victim. You explicitly called for prosecutions of Trump officials—to deter young conservatives from public service. This is textbook fascism. This is why we have the Second Amendment. Go fuck yourself.
This man, @mrddmia, who is suggesting I be shot, was in the mix to be President Trump's next Attorney General after he fired Pam Bondi for not prosecuting more of his political opponents. He is now at a MAGA dark money group, mobilizing death threats against me and my staff for sport. This shouldn’t be controversial: if you aid in stealing taxpayer money or directing it to enrich President Trump or his family, then you should be held accountable for that crime. That’s what I said, and I stand by it. And if you use the justice system for frivolous lawsuits used to intimidate and jail your political opponents, you should be held accountable for that via your bar status. No abuse of power and not violating the law? Then we have no problem. We know most Republican politicians are desperate to change the topic from their failing agenda. That’s how this kind of coordinated right-wing media play works. The threats and intimidation — of me, my staff, and my family — *are the point* of this kind of play. This dude and so many others are just hoping that we'll shut up in response. Not going to happen.

None of this is an excuse for openly trying to suppress anyone who has *yet to even declare* political opposition with threats. I’m willing to believe she didn’t consider what she said, but her refusal to apologize while blaming others is awfully revealing.

Don't play the victim. You said that you want young people considering working for the Trump administration to look at the investigations into key officials and think – using your words here – "Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want." Despicable.

Slotkin should be censured by the Senate and then charged with treason. She is a Bolshevik terrorist, and this type of behavior cannot be tolerated in a free society.
Sen. Elissa Slotkin just said that he wants to prosecute everyone who works for President Trump and that her goal is for young conservatives coming out of school to be afraid of working in a Republican administration

Anyone who raised concerns about immigration or Islamism was smeared as far-right. Now thousands riot as this traitor, who directly contributed to the problem, feigns shock and indignation. You don't get to criminalize the diagnosis and then act surprised by the disease.
