Booked the 2022 Porsche 911 GTS PDK Cabriolet in for its (BIG) 4 year service today. Some things I have learned; Porsche Centre Norwich customer service is outstanding. 6 Spark Plugs plus fitting is £900+ Centre-locking wheels need servicing. BMW main dealer labour rates are more expensive than Porsche 🤷‍♂️

Cars currently for sale: 2022 LR Defender 130 P400, 2 owners, super spec, 14500 miles, FLRSH and will be serviced this month. £62,000 ONO HPI Clear. 2018 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4i LE, 2 owners, good spec, just serviced and MOT’d, 23500 miles, very good history. £7,000 ONO HPI Clear. 2010 Jaguar XF-S Portfolio, great spec including sunroof, 155000 miles, some history, needs a few bits doing but drives very well, sadly CAT N. £2200 ONO (Possibly sold already)

I’ve had two of the previous model ML’s to the one in the video [W164], this genuinely is where they put the battery but you didn’t need to take the seat out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an absolute bastard of a job as the batteries are so big & heavy they use but put the seat all the way forward and tilted up as much as possible. Carpet pulled back and trim pieces pulled out and you can just about gain access. Lots of pinched fingers and scratched hands but it takes 20 minutes to do 🔋

Here’s a 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S650 I came very close to trading my BMW M760Li in for a few years back. This is actually me sitting in it. Notice how I said Mercedes-Maybach not Mercedes-Benz. That is because (I can promise you this) they are not just “Glammed Up” Mercedes-Benz S & GLS models. Yes they are based on that particular chassis and do use various parts from those cars including infotainment and running gear but the quality of materials used for the seats, extended leather, wood, carpets and anything soft touch is easily Bentley Flying Spur level. The S-Class Maybach is actually longer than a LWB S-Class and the GLS has a Maybach interior and several other options the standard GLS cannot be optioned with. He is right when he says they aren’t direct competitors but that’s about it 🤐

Enclosed Vehicle Trailers: Is there any point in looking at anyone else other than Brian James? Already have a couple of 3500kg towing cars as options but considering getting a tri-axle to move the majority of the fleet I manage around and as a further income stream 🤔 The chap we hired to move the Bentley a few months ago had a Race Transporter 6 which was an amazing bit of kit 🤩

This is the cheapest I can find it currently too. Holy Energy Pomegranate Piranha 🥭🐟 £39.99 for a 350g tub of powder and allegedly 50 drinks is a bit spendy but I’ll see how I get on with it. Doesn’t mess with my stomach or make my teeth feel awful and genuinely gives you a bit of a boost throughout the day provided you keep it in a decent bottle.

Got in the Jag for the first time in a week or so to head down Dad’s unit and sort the fuel sender gauge out…..but it seems that it has fixed itself 🤷‍♂️ Still going to have a look at it regardless.

You still get highly adjustable electric rear seats with the 7 seat version too. I’d definitely have preferred the 6 seat option but harder to find in the UK.

Exactly the same part as Hella build them for Volvo 🤷‍♂️ Took 10 minutes to fit, even in the dark 💡
