California Rangers founded in 1853 as the first statewide law enforcement agency. Most know for tracking the Five Joaquins Gang. The California Rangers cut off the head of Joaquรญn Murrieta, it was preserved in a jar but destroyed during the San Francisco earthquake fire of 1906.
