I think the conflict was more on the IOG/ambassador side regarding catalyst/funding using a treasury meant for cardano stretched across both ada & night (midnight was its own mess both in timing/launch & competing against a still incomplete cardano for users, liquidity, devs, etc., but that would warrant its own separate discussion)
I've held iagon since 2021, & watched no one care, everyone fomo in, ppl get frustrated with delays like in any crypto project, & then opened up arguments across FEs/blockfrost vs iagon, which in a way could feel like a self-fulfilling prophecy when everyone dogpiles a project when they struggle price wise, but it isnt as clear cut
I deeply condemn charles (all while using his weight as he tries to claw back executive function) attacking projects critical of his own or founding entity leadership, such as Optim or Iagon, and it isnt the first time charles tried to lead the charge to force projects to fold or self-immolate bc they competed against him or his private interests &/or called him out on specific deliverables or leadership (or lack thereof)
Imo, I've held before anyone cared before they were even on Cardano (and they were also one of the only projects to ever leave Eth & come to cardano, for better or worse based on failures of the chain to address fundamental industry shortcomings), didnt sell at the peak when everyone else bought, & will continue to hold as I made an investment in a business, and I accept the outcome whether they succeed or not, as opposed to the emotional fallout that wrapped up many in the space across many projects, not just this one
