I may be in the minority here, but I think encouraging people to leave X and move into Discord is a mistake. Every ecosystem has natural attrition. People lose interest, sell, move on, or simply stop paying attention. The only way you offset that is by constantly bringing in new eyeballs and new participants. Discord is great for community building, but it's largely a closed loop. X is where ideas get challenged, narratives are tested, and new people discover projects for the first time. I understand the desire for a healthier information diet, but if Cardano retreats from the public square, I worry it becomes increasingly insular. From an investor's perspective, that's not bullish for adoption, growth, or ultimately price.

I'm not sure you will shut out the fud but I do think this could help both the community and you in a variety of ways. Weekly internal open mtgs with an agenda moderated by a competent person or persons could be very beneficial. This should come with some rules a code of conduct if you will for both the community of course but more importantly the leaders and moderators as well. If this is done correctly it will help "everyone" be a better leader wherever they find themselves helping others in Cardano. There are a couple great Discord mods that understand it at a very high level and also don't over complicate the thing to where no one wants to go there and utilize it, I can refer them privately lmk Few questions @IOHK_Charles 1. Is there a group you are working with to set this up? 2. Will there be a weekly mtg similar to what you already do with the Midnight ambassadors ( I have heard rave reviews from this mtg in how it is organized and the work that gets done there) 3. Will everyone live under the same policies and be subject to disciplinary action if they are violated? 4. Will this have direct impact on how and what gets disseminated by you publicly thru your youtube channel? 5. What is the objective you wish to accomplish for Cardano ada holders with this civil discord idea Would love a reply here or better in a dm After 7 years here I just want to make sure that we can all respect each others opinions, especially from those like yourself and others who find this place to be there home no matter what challenges come. If we have common ground and mutual respect there is literally nothing we can't do together.
