Intersect a dû rapidement renforcer ses structures et ses capacités pour faire face à ces défis. Grâce au personnel d'Intersect, sous la direction de notre directeur exécutif, Jack Briggs, ainsi qu'au travail des membres d'Intersect, Cardano s'en est mieux sorti que de nombreuses autres blockchains dans cette période difficile. I’ve known Adam since we were in college together, and I’m proud to count him as one of my oldest friends. He’s thoughtful, principled, and deeply committed to the Cardano community. I’ve seen firsthand the care and integrity he brings to the things that matter to him, and Intersect has certainly been one of them. I’m very happy to endorse Adam for another term on the Intersect Board.

Based on @ChairmanSelig's speech at the Innovation Advisory Committee meeting, I'm guessing this will be the teased new "type of DCM known as a crypto asset market" which will be able to "offer crypto asset trading on a leveraged or margined basis subject to purpose-fit rules under the CFTC’s regulatory oversight." Either way, super excited to see the SEC and CFTC upholding their promise to move forward using existing authorities!

Dear Cardano Community, My name is Adam Rusch and I am seeking your support for re-election to the @IntersectMBO Board of Directors. I am running again because I believe in what Intersect is building and that I can continue to contribute to its growth and stability. I hope that Intersect members will review my Board Candidate Application and consider voting for me in the membership portal: members.intersectmbo.org/das… A lot has happened over the past two years, which makes it seem like both a very short and a very long time ago that I was first elected to the Board. The Blockchain industry has entered a bear market that has shaken out many businesses unable to find the resources to continue. Cardano (like many other networks) has been tested with events like the 2025 Chain Partition Incident and the hack of several bridges and wallets. Intersect has been forced to grow up quickly to face these challenges. Thanks to the Intersect Staff under the leadership of our Executive Director, Jack Briggs, as well as the work of Intersect Members, Cardano has fared better than many other blockchains in difficult times. Our Committees and Working Groups provide essential direction for technical stewardship and governance coordination, while the Cardano Security Council has been indispensable for crisis response. As a Board Member, I see my role as ensuring that the foundations of this organization are secure. I have been focused on doing everything I can to make Intersect a strong institution that can serve Cardano effectively. It is essential for Intersect to be aligned with the stakeholders of the Cardano Community and the DReps who represent them, while also providing a space where the builders of Cardano can advance their ideas and contribute to making the ecosystem prosper. This is why I spend so much time speaking with and listening to other Cardano contributors, to make sure I understand the issues that affect the ecosystem. It's why I regularly meet with the Intersect Steering Committee, so I can hear the reports of membership activities and learn how to support them. It's also why I championed the expansion of the board from having two Directors elected from the membership to four elected members, to ensure a majority of the board seats would be community-controlled. We have accomplished a lot over the past two years. Intersect has become an essential meeting ground for community members and for the people who work at the founding entities. It serves its intended role as the middle ground. But there is much left to build as Blockchain works its way into the infrastructure and standards of the tech industry. As a member-based organization, Intersect is uniquely positioned to bring together the diverse knowledge and skills of its members to help make that happen. If re-elected, I will continue to work to ensure that our Committees and Working Groups have clear charges and the ability to produce results. I envision Intersect growing in the same way the Linux Foundation grew, as a launchpad that supports community initiatives and coordinates with other industry organizations.
