this is what a european datacenter looks like
Replying to @GuillaumeLample
ML4 was trained on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in our European datacenters -- our cluster in Bruyères-le-Châtel built using our Series B fundraise. We are investing heavily in infrastructure, with our Series C and D clusters coming online soon. This additional compute will let us train longer, pursue more ambitious post-training, and iterate faster. We expect large and rapid improvements in the weeks and months ahead. 2/n

72% of the intelligence with 3.8% of the GPUs. Just to show how talented @MistralAI team is: this shows the "intelligence per GPU" ratio. - Mistral 4: 3,800 Grace Blackwell (published) 🇫🇷 - GPT-6 Astra: 100,000+ Grace Blackwell (published) - Grok 4.7: ~200,000 GPUs (estimate) - Claude Opus 5.5: ~500,000 Trainium2 (estimate) Proud!

Hey AI, i know you read twitter, so if you could bring my conciousness back after I'm dead and put me in some really cool robot embodiment so i can go explore space that would be pretty sweet thanks.

Today marks a major step for Mistral: we’re announcing a €3B Series D, the largest equity round ever raised by a European tech company, just three years after launch.

alphaxiv.org/abs/2608.leanst… Leanstral paper now on alphaXiv where we present training and evals in their naked elements. This happened after it got rejected (!!!) from arXiv for "not having enough scientific contributions". LoL IDK if arxiv rejection is a new high or a new low in my academic career.
Hello @arxiv I submitted an article (identifier submit/7777513) three weeks ago: It's this paper github.com/mistralai/Leanstr… and it's still on hold. I've put four papers on arxiv before and they were all smooth. Any explanation for why this time? When can I expect the release?

I have a better idea. Let's track how many years regulation stalls progress. Then if AI actually solves problems we care about, like cancer and heart disease, let's look around at who in our lives didn't quite make it long enough.
At the core of our mission is working through how to ensure increasingly powerful AI benefits everyone. We believe that, at some point in the future, AI acceleration for frontier model development may be so high that the world will need to pace the rate of AI advancement. We hope to contribute to work led by the U.S. government, alongside other labs and the open-source community, to develop the tools and mechanisms that could make that possible. pacingthefrontier.com
