This is very important to understanding the Great Schism.
Multiple Greek grievances against the Latins could be supported by the canons of Trullo (such as their opposition to clerical celibacy and Saturday fasting).
However, Rome did not receive Trullo on such matters.

The LGBT pilgrimage was approved in the sense of them coming, not their theology; in the exact same way the SSPX also came. They both came and had mass celebrated, both were in a weird standing with the Church.
