Just days before the release of Significant Other in 1999, Limp Bizkit took to the stage at Live 105's BFD festival at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. The performance captures a band on the brink of worldwide fame, delivering the explosive energy that would soon make them one of the defining acts of the nu-metal era. It's a remarkable snapshot of Limp Bizkit before their meteoric rise.

lol. The midget for no reason. What a time to be alive. Then, there, not now. 🌸 I saw them open for Korn before they even had an album out. Second concert ever. Probably 30 years ago now. Crazy. They were incredible though live before 2000. Bands when they are hungry and first get paid are the best. I like seeing a band prove they can do it again after the debut and money bullshit. Always the most interesting time in any artist’s career to me. 🖼️ that has a few legit bangers.

Counterfeit is still a great song. Though Durst is not, and never was, “an old school soldier”.

Saw them open for Korn with Helmet in 96. They only played 3 songs, but were great.

I saw them March 11th, 1997 at the State Palace Theater in New Orleans and actually spoke to Brian from Korn backstage briefly. They opened up for Helmet 🪖 & Korn… Great fucking show @limpbizkit!!! That’s an amazing venue…

Brings back memories, I did not have memories of Durst’s shapeshifting hand and fingers tho. Weirdo. Reptile.
