Since I was on a Mystic, CT, kick yesterday, it made me think of this awesome place to visit during the winter months. It's called The Lobster Trap Tree, and it's considered a landmark, it's free to visit. The whole thing is made from lobstah traps and buoys. It's magical. 🎄🦞🛟

You can tell by the e comment this person had 0 knowledge of whom I am and how I treat my dogs. They’re all my babies and I treat them like royalty. Most humans are jealous of how well they’re treated and loved and I raise them to be happy healthy and all around great companions. I take this kind of comment personally and like it’s attacking my children or my character. All the puppies that I’ve met other adopt are in my DMs and I get updates and photos for years after. A minister at James Talarico's longtime church says she isn't even sure Jesus Christ existed. And that's only the beginning. Rev. Babs Miller, who describes herself in her church bio as an “out lesbian chaplain,” rejects the virgin birth and says Jesus “didn't die to save our sins.” She compared the church's approach to faith to a 12-step program: “Take what you want and leave the rest.” I'm a Christian, and I have a serious problem with that. The Bible isn't a 12-step program where you take the parts you like and throw away the rest. I don't understand how you can question whether Jesus even existed, reject the virgin birth, reject His sacrifice on the cross, and then turn around and call what you're teaching Christianity. Talarico has made his Christian faith a prominent part of his public identity and his campaign for the U.S. Senate. But this isn't some church he wandered into last Sunday. St. Andrew's has been his church since childhood. He was baptized there, and he has said the church molded his faith and became his political “North Star.” So when I hear a minister from that same church describing Christianity as something where you can “take what you want and leave the rest,” I have questions about exactly what Talarico means when he tells Texans he's a Christian. Because what I'm hearing taught at the church that helped shape his faith sounds to me less like Christianity and more like a woke ideology wearing a Christian label. This is such a great video for Gen x. I've heard of each one of these growing up as the next way to die. I love that they put the razor blades in the chocolate bar clip in there.
