I finally started building for Bitget AI Hackathon S2.
My project is called WeekendAlpha AI, an AI-assisted trading research desk for markets that don’t really stop moving.
I’m building around the AI Trading Desk track with a simple idea:
Instead of asking AI “what should I trade?”, I want it to help answer “what am I looking at, what changed and what should I consider before making a decision?”
The dashboard takes an asset like
$BTC,
$ETH,
$SPY,
$QQQ or
$NVDA and turns the data into a research workflow:
→ Technical indicators + momentum
→ Market regime
→ AI research thesis
→ Bull / Base / Bear scenarios
→ Opportunity ranking
→ Backtest-style signals
→ Risk budget + advisory sizing
→ Research gaps and data freshness
The part I’m most intentional about is the final step:
AI does the research.
The human makes the decision.
No autonomous orders.
No broker connection.
No wallet keys.
I’m also designing it with 7×24 markets in mind because tokenized US stocks change the way traders can research opportunities outside traditional market hours.
Right now I have the core dashboard working, Qwen integration with validation + local fallback, a risk engine, scenario analysis and 11 automated tests passing.
There’s still a lot I want to improve, especially live news, macro data, options flow and order-book data.
That’s the fun part of a hackathon though. You start with an idea then build until the idea becomes something people can actually use.
@Bitget_AI Hackathon S2 has a 50,000 USDT reward pool and submissions close September 27 at 23:59 UTC+8.
This is my starting point. Now back to building.
