I think they have this about right. The fashion among defence policy fantasists is to imagine high tech battle formations to fight in the Ukrainian theatre, when we should not get involved, and in all probability will not. It is likely that we would spend a decade, and billions of pounds, on expensive but largely useless toys at the expense of things that actually do need to be defended, by which time the war would be over.

I don't think he is. There was a antimigrant demonstration and there was a pro-migrant demonstration. The pub didn't want to let any off them in. The anti-migrant demonstrators made it about the poppy because they where refused service.
This doesn't serve both veterans like us or if you have concerns about immigration well.

The pub in question banned protesters from those that attended an anti-migrant demonstration and those attending a pro-migrant demonstration.
Some people refused access to the pub then made it about the poppy. Staff on shit pay and lack of training didn't handle it well.
I've been on two Unite The Kingdom marches and its all a fuzzy warm feeling but a piss up for the afternoon.
We need to be protesting more like Danny Tommo with discipline than Tommy Robinson and a warm fuzzy feeling, sing along and piss up.
That stops people getting into these pub situations and making yourself look shit!

I think immigrants from similar cultures to us fit in well. What have had though is mass migration from cultures that are not like us. Those cultures have medieval practises and for some 2-3 generations on living in this country they still practise them.
Its not compatible. If you want to continue you culture with its medieval practises, then remigration should be considered. The English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish shouldn't have to change for you, it is up to the migrant to fit in with us.

Hold your horses! There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Tim Martin supports or has approved such a policy. This is almost certainly a case of a very young, naive manager completely misinterpreting the guidelines, and he’s going to be in a lot of trouble.
